best battlefield game to date
i love that i can make my own style of play,,make my own lay outs..not forced to a specific class
mod your own way ,your own style
this game is full of gadgets and stuff
very modernised battlefield
runs extremely smooth
map design is just epic
love it that its so big
it makes a lot of sense for Rush mode large scale which is epic insane explosive fun with 5 levels of progression destroying those computers
12 massive maps to date..with different modes or sizes for gameplay
tons of weapons and gadgets and vechiles and aircraft to choose from
this game has has a massive overhaul since launch
trust me what u seeing in this trailer is actual gameplay..thats how good it looks
on my 5700x it uses only about 5 percent on every map no matter the gameplay or players of up to 128 people or AI
its just heavy on gpu at high and ultra high settings

The story is kinda interesting. Eastern nation's "Black Storm" regiment vs Nordvik Security forces. Essentially A national military vs Private Security army for control of an advanced weapons production facility.

I just got battlefield 2042 a month ago having alot of fun for 3 reasons. Avoided the first year of the game. 2nd my expectations were low. 3rd got this on sale $60 off normal price.

Too bad the game isn't as fun as this trailer makes it look. Just more worthless cosmetics and simple game modes. Happy holidays from EA/Dice. Not here's a new map or 2 or some actual new weapons (not recycled trash vault weapons) or a gadget or vehicle or something. Even though iv played since launch, I still don't think they turned it around all that much. Yes it's playable, but it's gets boring super fast, new content gets exhausted in less than a month, and hell this season they tacked on an extra 2 weeks so it'll be dead again long before season 4

Actually lack of game mides annoys mw a lot in BF2042, BF4 was like perfect game with many modes, achievements etc. Modern BF lacks a lot of small details like ribbons, medals, service starts for guns etc... I just want a modern fps game I would enjoy a play more than 70hours in a year

It’s good to see DICE finally fixing their game, but I’m gonna pass with Battlefield 2042. I’ll be waiting for the next Battlefield game, hopefully it has a more mature, modern, war torn, gritty theme to it and is polished day 1. I’m not expecting 0 bugs but at least something like Battlefield 1’s day 1 release.

Too back the game has no longevity.... WHY? because no server browser, getting kicked to menu every game, joining games with 3 min left and losing, or joining games with 30 Timmy's and getting steam rolled. WHY DOES THIS CAUSE A PROBLEM? Because people who want to play your game a lot, slowly but surely start to hate the game again, doesn't encourage people to use their mics, and doesn't encourage teamwork. Until we get a "balanced teams" mechanic and/or server browser. This game will never retain a higher player count.

Everyone saying this game is coming around but it still only has 3 good maps, least amount of weapons out of any battlefield game, and still has not reworked operators so that they can be more like traditional battlefield classes.

128 breakthrough is about to be INSANE. Picked the game up a couple weeks back for $10. Love it. Glad I waited until EA started to get their heads straight. Hope others give the game another chance bc it's definitely a lot of fun.

Give us more mechanics like it's predecessor so this game can be as enjoyable as it once was. Also, get away from dynamic mechanics if the game engine can't handle them...
