can anyone help? he makes it look so easy & fun. i am beyond dreadful at fps games. i cant stay alive for more than 7 seconds without being blown up, sniped, or shot at. and if i come across an enemy i get too excited and start spraying and my aim goes out of control. i know its about scoring in bf -- and i capture objectives, heal teammates, supply ammo etc as best i can -- but i am sick and tired of going 2 kills 20 deaths every game. it kills the fun. and i really really want to enjoy these games as i enjoy the atmosphere and detail of them.

This mode is pointless. It defeats the purpose of battlefield. What sets battlefield apart from other games is the VEHICLES

its a huge map for infantry only. And they should reduce player count so they dont have to put AI. Introduce smaller maps with max 3 cap points for intense action packed gameplay, like Battlefield Bad Company 2

Giant open fields, bland buildings, some rocks, maybe even a tree or two. Ya this game looks absolutely TERRIBLE. Look at bf1 and bf5 map design. They actually look like a war is happening. Bf2042 looks like a lazy design team wanted to make an all grass map with squares sitting on top.

It’s 128 players mode but hard to find ppl in most of the maps and die from rats. The game design is so bad and still they didn’t fix the recoil patterns of the gun after 1 years.

Ever since the Nordvik Event started I've been mainly playing BF. I've even set GT7 and HLL aside. It's just a constant stream of action and fun. Noticed in OCE the lobbys fill alot faster now so please to see it retaining Players. Love the AM40

@Drunk Husband Dude I'm a Vet, been playing since bf1942 and almost 40. I've rinsed those one out and time to move on from them. 2042 Isn't as bad as you all make it out to be so if it doesn't interest you then how about you move on aswell and find something else to do then bag it out.

Not for me. I find its empty, alote of running. Not enough choas! The maps are too big for it. I love 2042 but infantry only should be on smaller maps. They should have put Conquest Grind there instead.
Cinematic moments are an important part of BF for me. Not having those jets fly by and explosions and tanks takes a lot of the experience away in my opinion.

@TheBrokenMachine It's in portal at moment. That's the problem. No one opens that tab so lobbies are not always completely full. They should rethink that aspect and promote the weekly modes on the front page / main menu .

?Seems like you are playing a diffirent game than me... 128 player conquest is almost always chaos for me. So is 64 player Breakthrough. (128 breakthrough is too much chaos even imo. 64 is better)

2042 should have a more raw, more gritty atmosphere but apart from that the game is good. So much fun to play. Gun play for example is better than Bf1! (That spread increase when moving in Bf1 is terrible) Every game has its flaws, Bf1 too.

@jortepap the spread was terrible in what way?? Most of those guns in BF1 were designed in the late 1800s. They will have massive spreads. That's one of the small details that BF1 is so great. You go running and pull up a rifle. You're not shooting a group the size of a baseball at 100 to 200 yards. This is the problem with the new bf design team. They left realism behind so they could pander to the COD crowd. Battlefield was made great by being a war sim, not a fake COD shooter.
