I love sniping, but theres a bit more I'd like from it, particularly from long range:
- Remove or HEAVILY reduce scope glint. It lights you up like a beacon from the other side of the map, takes away the "concealed" vibes. Give bigger muzzle flash to compensate.
- Add in variable wind, have recon classes have a wind measurement. This makes those long range snipers less lethal for ground troops moving around.
- Ability to dial in range and wind on the scope. Maybe re-add a range finder instead of using Q markers to check distance.
- Re-add supression. I think it is fair to at least have some prevention against snipers without needing to go for the kill.
- Needing to have enemy directly on the crosshair for Q spotting. It feels more like shooting under nameplates at the moment.
All of this combined could create some epic sniper vs sniper battles, and also encourage more stealthy concealed sniping, meaning you need to get creative with positioning instead of always being in the same spot. But being fair, it also gives non-snipers a fighting chance. Thinking gritty realism, not knowing where a sniper is can be exhilerating.

Dxr-1+ thermal + suppressor. That thermal seems OP on a sniper. Go to gun for picking off sneaky campers

For me personally in Battlefield games; the Pinnacle of Sniping was in BF5. I played with all snipers, and making headshots where glorious (played more then 1500 hours). Not a camping sniper, but mostly taking on flags, and playing aggressively with them. Second BF I would say on the list (Sniper wise), would be BF1. We all remember the Martini Henry and such. A somewhat clunky weapon, but the shooting noise, the ping when you got a headshot .. priceless. All in all Sniping in BF2042 isn't bad, but no where near the 2 BF's named, or as fun with rushing to flags, quick scoping and more. Although that's my opinion.

Loved the video bro one of my favourite things to do in dead by daylight used to be trolling the killer lol. Also I wouldn't have a problem with them adding more snipers to 2042 as long as they have identity to them. The issue is that the current snipers are really good at what they do so they'd have to be good but offer something different too

So… I started to go to church the other day. First time in 30yrs. I did this because of the disturbing content I saw yesterday and then again today. I thought Squid must be possessed. Some kind of demon must’ve taken him over. Because what I saw was pure blasphemy. So I prayed for you yesterday and now I have to go back again today. Because why would Squid once again play anything other than battlefield. It must have been in error or something. So I thought to myself that I must not have prayed correctly. So after this, I will go back and kill a few people in 2042 and ponder this thought a little longer. Hoping that you go into the light and find your salvation in 2042 once again. ❤😂🥰

thanks to you ive had some amazing games recently and battlefield has become 10x more fun :D, i also have a weapon suggestion for you its the m5a3 with shortened barrel, close combat rounds and a laser, you can choose any sight but a closer range one is usually best, it feels like the pbx but with higher rate of fire :D

Yesterday, I finally had one person in my squad with whom we did teamwork. I let the guy lead because I'm not terribly good at this. I don't remember his nickname but I'm Pawtucket and four digits after. If you recognize yourself, it would be nice to play again sometime. This is a completely different game if you play as a team

Hi Squid: Your videos crack me up. However, what you are doing is simply running and gunning with a sniper rifle. Which apparently you are very good at. But that's not sniping. I see your headshots don't show the distance of the kill which means all the headshots are under 200m. So here's my question. Got any video of you making headshots at 800m, 900m, 1000m, 1100m or 1300m+ headshots. I do. That's sniping. Good video though.

In my opinion, sniping, no matter the game, can be SOOOOOOO satisfying! Especially when you go sniper vs sniper, anti-sniper mode, getting that turd in the back of the map camping prone on a hill or roof top... so satisfying!
