honestly game was healthier when it was the imbalanced mess and everyone was complaining how X class and X skill is OP. just go back to season 5, game was good back then.

Yesterday i played as rogue and got literally one-shooted from barb, white gear score. I noticed there aren’t random atributes anymore. Game is dead to me.

I've been playing Legacy Steel & Sorcery another extract game been really fun there are no wipes to loot, your stashes, or character levels. Currently 5 classes in the game: Wizard, Rogue, Hunter, Priest, and Warrior. It's been pretty fun and I feel like this will sate my hunger when it comes to another extraction dungeon crawl game. Same rarity of loot just no artifact gear yet. Max level is 20 per class, you can also gain levels for each of the different types of merchants, tons of pvp as well a lot of people in normal runs and high roller but its not called that they just call it night mode. I always have a habit of calling it that cuz of Dark and Darker.
I really love Dark and Darker and it makes me sad what the devs aren't doing, when has the community ever been wrong about suggestions? It's just really unfortunate that the devs have this inflated ego and are incapable of listening to their creators. Banning them from the game and discord is super messed up; they are doing this to themselves and the game, to demand respect when facing negative feedback is so childish. When will they realize that most of their player base are Americans and we interact differently. I never really thought about what it's like over there, is there freedom of speech in Korea??

Removing random modifiers made me quit outright just makes the game feel pointless like I was a new player to the game and I loved it but they need to work on there terrible laggy servers and add random modifiers back and I’m playing again till then never again

Nah, too dramatic… game still game, tho, it’s a pay-to-win game 7/10 the pvp it’s just a unique experience. Even in normal games, I’m not rich and not a pro. Many good players play normals just for fun, u know; casually tryin to loot some stuff. I dunno, I think 1k players in average per hour may still be profitable in the tech industry? play whatever takes out the best of you c: u don’t need to be addicted to darkandarker to entertain us. 12:53 ❤

When called out they just deny it, and then all the other streamers flock to their defense demanding that smoking gun evidence and a confession be presented, before they could ever believe that one of their brethren might be acting dishonestly, and went ahead downloading a $20 dollar piece of software.

My favorite YouTuber trio of DnD is Lorr, Chip, and Yami. It's always been so nice to see people who play the game as a GAME. It reminds me of when my friends and I, with just messing around by yapping random stuff or singing when someone was trying to clutch. I hope DnD comes back but I will be watching to see how far you can go as a fat make-a-wish kid.

You streamers and your need to "feel special" killed this game too, Gear has been wayyyyy too impactful for so long that the plebs slowly realized the game wasn't for them. Every time they tried to nerf gear, even a little, you fucking cry baby's bitched and moaned like someone stole one of your crutches.
That being said, removing the usefulness of gear altogether like this patch basically did, is clearly retarded. More than anything though, the nerf to base health, and the one-shot potential of multiple weapons really helped this patch achieve it's goal of killing the game for good. Last but not mother-fucking least, the clear and obvious class bias that RANGERS have enjoyed since inception, turned this game into "Ranged or Ranger", what should have been a melee game with some projectiles became a shooter with some melee.

I literally just started playing the game with 33 hours right now. I dont even know what most of the stuff is or do. The 'wiki' doesn't even have a lot of stuff on there either so most of it was just randomly guessing and exploring. I am saving and building my gear to go on my first ever boss fight 'spectral knight' just to woke up and see all my item is gone. Then this video drop. Thank you SDF for keeping the player base low.

Was it only me, or the playtests #4 and #5 were the most enjoyable, then 1st month of early acces and game started getting worse and worse.
Like the game completely missed the right direction to go in my opinion.
- everybody remember, how important it was to play carefully, take the least hits from mobs possible, because there were not many healing sources in the dungeon. Well, here comes warlock with infinity healing, completely ruining the game core. nobody cares about being hit by mob anymore.
- in playtests everything was being slow, you really had to play with your positioning during PvP and use the enviroment (like fortifying with homies on some stairs) and the PvP wasn't just one guy with op gear and buffs that mindlesly rush you... Well the game became more flashy fortnite-like and more about outgear enemies than actually outplaying them in some creative way.
- the sweatlords. I mean the game is created to master it, especially highly competitive one like DaD, but the ranked system it offered didn't separate the best players from casuals at all. The average experience of getting back to game after few months was being bullied by some crazy nolifes, that play the game 24/7, know all the hitboxes, every detail... and they calculate the gear score to be the best equiped possible on the lower class dungeon run. Ok, good for them but they should be playing in some high rank queue, just like better players in other competitive games. The casuals are usually like 95% of the game community...

You're 100% right about SDF. The owner of a small gaming company I worked for had the same issue. Every time we came up with a feature or system that worked the butthurt owner would come in and tweak it until it was trash then remove. If it was his idea even if it didn't work he would keep the feature. In the end the game keeps a small audience but it's not profitable.

Ive played since the begging of dark and darker. Not once have the devs/ sdf ever made a survey or a poll to ever fix thier game or make it better. SKELETONS STILL DO DAMAGE THROUGH WALLS FOR FUCKS SAKE 😂. Like i would have loved to see a roaming demi boss. Stuns, blinds critcal chance damage. Some random RNG implemented in this game. A tinkering class magican class a summoning class. Like this game could have been something but, when u kill ur popularity its impossible to get it back
