i was getting ready to install but then i read ''you can still party up in the solos'' SO ITS NOT SOLOS????
you can no longer premade queue to solo mode, but you can still party up in the dungeon.. yeah enjoy the meta of teaming in solos to steamroll on other solos.
the whole point of a solo mode is to 1v1. that party system just ruins it.. even the illegal teaming is better than party system teaming.
edit: its so funny and sad at the same time when we as players can just predict what will happen when they come up with this shit. but for some reason they have no idea what kind of shitstorm they are about to start.
like how is it that the players learn what works and what doesn't, while the developers don't? i mean these devs play the game too. sdf is like level 300 so he has fair bit of hours played as well, how does he not see the issues with this system?

As a duo player im disappointed. I mainly play solo with my bro. I don't wanna play solo, and we can't get a 3rd. He doesn't get along well with others

So. Nothing has changed. We basically back to solos being unplayable because of the teaming. It was horrible back before they stated it was bannable (at least in high roller).
So now the meta is - group up with randoms and kill the lobby of solo players. Well this monkey just can’t quit his 1v3 vision. As always 1 step forward 100000 steps back

Not reinstalling, even though solos getting removed was my reason. I aint playing their "i change my mind" game. I'm tired of being ping ponged while they cook vegan sausages in their kitchen. They've lost my faith, and enough is enough.

I cant give dark and darker any praise since it shouldn't of been removed in the first place. Instead of possibly listening to streamers who only play trio only maybe they should listen to majority of their community player base but ya know idk im not a game dev lol. Seriously tho it was really stupid on their part, removing the gear mods to was just overall boring. How any of them thought oh thats a good idea is crazy to me. Cause what I think people were honestly hoping for was more patches to add to the game, maybe new skills, maybe new class, maybe new map ect. Instead they were like we taking stuff away so yeah its obvious it have people go um no thats a dumb idea.

It’s not solos. It’s now find a trio ingame or snipe with your friend game mode, and go in with a premade trio second game mode. And the way they worded the patch like if they did anything new is insane, honestly at this point I don’t even wanna play. Love the game but this constant back and forth and no new content just made me feel disgusted by the company.

@@Firebox720I don’t think there is a specific reason. I believe they’re stuck in this idea that people are inherently good, and thus having such a system allows players to « bond » in game like a lovey dovey drama. It doesn’t work like that in a game where you bring things with potential value to either find players that do not match the value you brought, or get teamed on by players that did get together. It would just feel unfair. Random modifiers are unfair but also what players enjoy cause that’s why you get into the dungeon. To get an advantage for your future fights. If I wanna farm troll, before I had to expect fighting at least 2 players afterward. Now I potentially have to fight 2 teams of 3 ? Why even bring a kit, or bother looting high tier bosses?

No clue why they are leaving the teaming feature in solos... going to be 2 weeks before the "data" shows it's bad for the mode. Glad solos is back but they need to full revert

from teaming being bannable to teaming being a feature, makes me believe 2 things
They are moving competitive aspect to the arena exclusively
They are planning to change progression and either expand AP to all game modes with different values, or do something like proper battle pass instead
I really do hope DaD picks itself up tho, absolutely nothing else appeals to me
