The one place where it is almost ALWAYS better is PVE. PVE has Negative PDR and is usually really easy to Headshot.

Yo damood it was great to talk to you about this in skoozee's stream. I Still believe true is better as you can't really count on only hitting headshots. Usually if you hit hs you already have the advantage. But still, I love to geek out over shit like this. Keep it up <3

Yeah. Add is especially weaker on hand crossbows and throwables too since it's harder to guarantee headshots, but I feel the headshot buffs push add phys closer to true that it's worth exploring as a build concept. I might make an excel tool that calculates which is better based on conditions as hs reduction, pdr, pen and hits landed in various locations.

It outscales true damage on headshots, because 1 true damage will be 1 on headshot, while 1 add will be 2 on headshot.

I actually think the Kris’ first 2 sideways swings are really forgiving for landing headshots. Just aim at head height and you pretty much can’t miss the head

I've been building additional phys mainly on classes like fighter and barb where u should be hitting head and you have high phys pow, because the add phys also scales with phys pow

Unless Ironmace has changed something VERY recently, add physical damage does not and has never scaled with Phyiscal Power.
