Curse Mastery perk is bugged. With that perk removed, Power of Sacrifice does damage AND heals you again, even without having a Curse of Pain applied to the target as long as you have the Torture Mastery perk. Hellfire still does NOT heal you anymore.
Also, Curse of Pain doesn't do the inital big damage it is supposed to do when you have Curse Mastery equipped, severely nerfing the damage. Recommended to NOT USE this perk for now.

Wouldn't this be preferable with a melee centric boc build? You can cop for healing, then curse of sac self buff for free str DMG and 30hp and then go in with boc, seems sac being broken with the perk might be a blessing in disguise, even tho cop wont be able to be spammed.
I wonder how far a life drained target can move before it cancels, if they show any sign of retreat you can life drain and maybe channel fully the whole time they are running, gaining back lost hp at the same time. Flamewalker is probably also a good spell to cast right before someone is on you so you can space properly with the longsword

Hydra summon is actually insane, I won’t be surprised if they nerf it. Just drop it in the middle of a fight where running isn’t an option for the enemy squad and they’ll get obliterated😩

Also you can use curse of pain and power of sacrifice on the hydra so you can heal from it. It's kinda op when you have enough magic healing and spell cap to afford that, because you can infinitely stay in the swarm without having to aggro the mobs

The beam is definitely an opener for blow of corruption. It feels like it tickles because it only does 3 base damage. I estimate without counting it out that the beam has 12 ticks or so. So you can do up to 30 damage a beam base but you have to hit every single tick. I bet that skele over killed by quite a bit though

there is a new tech i found if you get flamewalk and the life steal spells use them and kite mobs then just blow of corruption and its easy kills just kite a whole room and with vampire the perk that gives you inf casts and malice your doing big damage! and did i mention it hits through doors?

@Dap dap because boc was needed for melee build and phantomize is really good for chasing down and disengaging so you would typically take both perks and leave behind spell casting

The reason why power of sacrifice isn’t healing is because of the bug, it isn’t doing any DoT dmg. Curse mastery is currently bugged and causes PoS to do that and causes CoP to do ZERO initial dmg. Please like this comment so other warlocks see this thank you

Not sure this is true. They do initial damage to the dummies and I fought another warlock and we were both CoPing eachother and we both definitely took damage.

Really wish Iron Hammer would give us more information for stuff. Like with vampirism, is it just a flat 20% increase to all magical healing ex) I have 10 magical healing so vampirism gives +2, or is it just any source that does magical healing gives you an extra flat 20% to the current heal tick. They could be better about this stuff.

i wouldn't call the power of sacrifice a nerf, barb teams are gonna be meta again like they were with bard wiz combos. Now lock is gonna be an insane support class till this is hotfixed.

@Dusky Dk I might have to do some more testing then because I tested on crypts and ruins to see if it blocked a door and my team mate AND enemies could walk through them just fine. Hydra is just a garbage spell overall for the amount of spell capacity it costs.

the reason life drain heals so much is probably cause magic power increases spell healing as well as spell damage meaning that you get a double dip effect since the damage increases from 3dps to 4dps at default 25% magic power which is then applied to the healing increasing it from 4 to 5 per second

@Fabut was suposed to be, but aparently it treats 0 as 1 in the game, as technically the character has none, and the only thing giving us heal is the cop perk, so I guess it just takes the perk as a calculation equation, but hell if I know why XD

Truth is, it's working as intentional. It clearly says in the perk "curse of pain" only heals you and that's how the perk was always worded. The fact that hellfire and curse of sacrifice healed at all previously was a glitch, not the other way around. All they did was fix the glitch.
