Quarterstaff Barb has become my new favorite build. It's a bit crazy getting 230+ hp without needing to do anything but take 2 skills and some green ale. You will notice most fights I get hit and I barely get touched. Let me know what your thoughts are about this!

I mean.....they were always this good. And funny enough some of the classes were only viable with added damage. This just brings it to light. Regardless of the game being in a bad state now. It needed to happen to show glaring issues like this. The worst part is you aren't actually outrunning the class. You usually get chipped away by axes and punched to death :). I've done it a lot,😅. I'm taking a break cause I don't feel the time invested vs the loot is good in hr or normals atm.

barb has always been this op lol... pick something to nerf 1. 15 str from rage 2. 11 str from beer or 25% hp from warcry imho 15 str from rage and movement speed is just way too overloaded

@griftr5815 horseman I really don't like since the nerf. I would take viking sword due to move speed. Felling is just too short reach and is bad against fast players. I like quarterstaff because ale basically doesn't effect me and I can jump constantly for headshots while they hit my limbs

Strength give u hp 1 str give 2 hp so rage give u extra 15 str plus ale another 8 str and another buff make ur hp increase by 25 percent But remember people can kite u easily ur a barbarian They saw u rage they just back off and comeback ur buff gone

Barb will never be broken when you can just kite them around while they flail around at the speed of a snail. Obv in buff ball that changes things, but barb is very situational. Too easy to 1v1 too

Ive been running this but i drop the two hander perk for the cannible 12% hp on kill perk and ive been getting a lot of value out of it with the high health pool

I'm not a fan of that weapon but you are certainly welcome to try that it might work out. The caves are quite cramped for how wide it swings

I'm not sure exactly what setting it is but if you turn down your graphics settings the ale has a very small distortion effect compared to playing on higher settings. Just something to note!

Ale is always viable, But i do think francesca axe + achilles is a MUST have for barb. If you fight any blue+ rogue/wizard/ranger even you will not be able to keep up with them consistently unless you can hit your axes without achilles like you did in this video. This build would be good to stat check a fighter or barb in a 1v1, Because they wont be running as it doesnt benefit them and u dont need to catch since ur going to be forcing melee fights.

With enough franciscas anything is possible. It's worth noting that warcry is way better against another barb than Achilles. So you have to decide what matchup you want to be better at.

to make it even funnier you are elf race which means that's not even all the hp you can get without gear, although i dont know how much hp more you would get after the cap? would it be 4 more basic? if you were to go orc? i cannot test it myself, just asking and pointing it out

i am aware agi is pretty funni stat on barb to have, i was countlessly run down by quarterstaff barbs since previous wipe.... i think the biggest cunt was barb running with 41+ agi.... how tf am i supposed to flee as rogue XD

Oh true it's higher than 237 lol! But elf race is best due to Agility increase. You could say elf is BIS lmao. It would be like 4 higher with orc I think.
