As a parent it is ultimately my Job to censor what my kid sees. But it is the responsibility of those who distribute harmful content/products to at least attempt to keep it out of the hands/eyes of those who are to young to know better. Porn is addictive and destructive, it should not be illegal but those who publish it have a responsibility to put forth and honest attempt to keep from children. The only way for parents to keep these things away from their children is to not give them access to the internet. You can train them well but a-lot of this stuff is maliciously put in places where its one wrong google search and click away. We wouldn't say its the parents job to keep your kids from drinking if people were sneaking into your house and giving them Jell-o shots.

Nah, it’s your job to teach your kids right and maintain a level of understanding of what they are consuming. People making 18 plus content shouldn’t have to worry that you arnt doing your job and they might get in trouble for it. And there are intelligent ways to monitor your kids while still allowing them to explore, different types of programs/technologies that could allow you to monitor internet traffic, ooorrrrrr don’t give them internet access until an appropriate age. The internet isn’t your baby sitter and even if every other kid at school has a phone it doesn’t mean it’s right or healthy or that you need to cave. Clear communication and not hiding reasons for doing things helps kids understand rather than saying cuz I said so.

The websites aren't sneaking into your homes though, your children are actively going to search for them. Its not an easy task nowadays to find out how to turn off safe search on a kids account.

In case anyone doesn’t know, if you put a mag in your own inventory, you can unload all the ammo. I see this a lot now where people toss a half empty mag from someone’s rig.
