I really hope the single player game is infinite like Minecraft or animal crossing. I was really disappointed that Stalker 2 wasn't setup to have the game being played forever. There are elements of it, but the campaign makes many parts unplayable after the first playthrough. I'm still playing it and it does have a lot of longevity, but It's really not meant to be played infinitely.

I have 1300 hours in Tarkov (started playing February 2024) and have only ever used a controller (Vader Pro 3) for in raid, that I customized the buttons to work for me. That coupled with an app on my phone that allows me to hotkey things (grenades, talking, scope up and down, mount weapon etc), it's fun and very doable...on computer. I just don't see how inventory management out of raid is gonna be possible, without something mouse like. Really hope they don't ruin the game to accomadate console users.

sure the audio has its glitches, but it honesltly is pretty good. You just notice the small issues because the stakes are higher in tarkov, if you listened to footsteps in games like battlefield or cod, theyre not that good either, but you dont notice it because you dont rely on sound like you do in tarkov.

All well, and good, but what battlestate games need to do is sort out the hackers as I've never played a game with as many as is in this game. It's what i always wanted a pc for!! When I got it by spending the thousands of pounds price tag haha I quickly realised it is a hackers game. I even had the opportunity to meet a " nice " hacker one time who warned me people were coming on my location in my chat and I asked to interview him on my stream about just how bad it is and he said every 2 - 3 games he meets at least 2 hackers in game and they do the " im friendly wobble " so when they fix that ill give the gane a thumbs up until then its a shell thats empty.

Tbh i played ABI and tried EFT. Its horrendous. I am sure the content is fun and everything but it is not a game for a casual, you need a LOT of game knowledge to not die 2 min into a raid after an average wait time of 15 min to find a raid. I understand why people prefer the PVE over PVP. And i haven't even mentioned the cheaters.

With ABI i report a cheater and get a cpnfirmation 30 min later that the player is suspicious and has been banned for 24 hours for further investigation. If cheating is confirmed you get back your gear's worth and a bonus.

ABI respects your time. EFT is for sweats in their mothers basement who have no life.

it really depends on the region. i have 4000 hrs in on the east coast and have ran into a dozen cheaters that i can identify. obviously theres more of the ones that i coudlnt detect but getting one tapped out of nowhere or running into a cracked out player also leads people to accuse people of cheats. my duo ran into landmark and if i didnt know it was landmark i would suspect cheats and we're not timmies we run lvl 5+ armor wuth high pen ammo every raid.

@GinoTravisanyyes you basically need a 400 dollar cpu and 32gb ram to run this game but I wouldn’t call that a monster pc. You don’t need a powerful GPU, it’s not very GPU demanding. I didn’t get above 120fps on raids until I installed my 7800x3d. But that’s at 4k. 1080p or 1440p you def can play it with a 1000-1500 dollar pc, you don’t need a 3000 dollar pc like mine

On everything but streets and lighthouse it runs okay. It’s just so unoptimized. My 5070ti can run any game at max settings on 4k at least at 60fps with dlss quality. On tarkov without ray tracing and with outdated graphics, i get 80fps on streets with is ridiculous on a game with outdated unity graphics and no complex lighting
