Ton of cosmetics added and what content they add? 1 new 4v4 map you can’t play in other playlists besides 4v4..and new menu, that’s it?! This is so disappointing, cosmetics are cool but nobody really pays attention to who is wearing what when we are in the matches actually battling each other. Trash update and trash store prices, can’t believe they got rid of battle pass so they can milk players even more and nickle and dime them in the store. It’s ridiculous

Clearly they cut out all the season 6 battlepass armor so they could sell it all to us at $20 per set. There's SEVEN sets of armor in the store, SEVEN, and exactly ONE free FOR A LIMITED TIME armor set. This is the single most disgustingly greedy update Infinite has had yet, I personally feel completely betrayed. EDIT: Of course, can't forget that we got a whole ONE map too, lol. This is some season 1 bs right here.

I'll start by saying that the new map illusion is really cool and plays well on CTF. But besides from that the 'content' update was woeful. There has been no new content since early November so one new map is a joke. The 20 tier pass is absolutely awful. The cool new sniper model is far to expensive. No new forge maps added despite there being a huge collection of them to put into multiplayer. All that good will that 343 have built up over 2023 has been flushed down the toilet. 343 clearly are not serious about Infinite anymore so why should the players be? If they don't add new forge maps next week to refresh the playlists I'll be finally saying goodbye to Infinite which sucks because I wanted to grind the hero rank.

I unlocked the legendary tier left shoulder pad for Chimera in Cyber Showdown 1. The event ended before i got the right shoulder pads. I can not find any way to unlock the right shoulder pad, as the event cannot be returned to and the pad cannot be purchased. I hope to god that 343 fixes this because I do not want my armor to look like that. Worst comes to worst, I can just say it’s a “shoulder pauldron” but come on.

Not that infinite is bad, it’s fun, but I think it comes down to the core gameplay. People didn’t play h2 and h3 for cosmetics. Yeah you could get those in h3 but people played for the fun gameplay. It’s the gameplay that doesn’t have the same replay value. New maps and weapon won’t change the core gameplay. (that being said, the evo in ranked is fun lol)
Whenever the new halo game comes out, it needs that classic halo feel and not so modern. Back in the day we didn’t need a bunch of new weapons and maps every couple months for the game to keep our interest. Those games are still good today. Just be thankful with the sandbox we got now.

I have a feeling that 343 stepping away from seasons was a Microsoft decision. I mean, look at all the items in the shop. It's clear that Season Six was supposed to be the spirit of fire and cyber showdown, and the yappending were the 2 seasonal operations. I even have a feeling that the sniper weapon model was the 50 tier reward. It feels like they were making a season six, and then Microsoft shut it down so they can just sell bundles. Hell, we know that they're probably holding content back to spread out for these updates. Im happy they're working on the next halo game, bc this new team has been killing it, but I can't say that Im not sad that we only got like 2 seasons with this new team. I mean, they managed to fix the shitshow that old 343 made. They should really rebrand and clease themselves of that name. 117 studios don't sound too bad.

I remember that you get a lot of helmets, shoulders, and chest (in a season) from just paid BP and event passes. This occurs for S2 and S3 and maybe S4. Mark IV feels like those non-canonical cores (Yoroi, Eaglestrike, and Chimera).

The fact they said they wanted to make operations instead of Seasonal passes so they could focus on other things is what fucking gets to me....We assumed it was because they wanted to tackle issues such as bugs or even gameplay aspects....

But no. It was just another excuse to put everything in the shop and milk our wallets.....
Most of the armors in the shop could have been in a Pass. They went ahead and made all of these sets despite saying they were going to tone such things down to focus on other things.

Its a very extreme event in Destiny. I'm pretty bad in pvp but damn its fun getting int a match just chilling with some Halo fans!!!!Halo game I enjoyed was Reach. Dont get me wrong love the Chief but since our Spartans are cannon can we get another Reach style campaign supporting the war in the background? Especially when I've had a few drinks like now. Two days ago another player and I spent the whole match quoting RVB while our teammates made sure to keep all the vehicles from us😂😂😂😂

Sure, Omega bundle is considered a "bargain" at $40 but still.. why is all of it in the shop?

Wouldn't be an issue if we could EARN credits over time or something, they're basically setting up to charge us for everything new added into the game, which wouldn't be a problem if they weren't JUST cosmetics.. like, what happened to the banished shotgun or Falcon, nevermind the other vehicles. At least Halo 5 added new sandbox items AND cosmetics on the regular that you can earn by playing. With what they're asking/making in the shop you wouldn't be wrong to think infinite would have gotten the same.. they could've even just made some of the armor available via ultimate Rewards for weekly challenges.

Though, on the note of weapons.. the Stanchion really should've been a new power weapon.. not a skin for a sniper, it's basically a hand held railgun.

They can only use the excuse that it's free to play for so long.. game has been out 3 years, $200 for 8 armor sets and the Stanchion if you don't get the Omega bundle.. $160 if you do. I'm not trying to sound ungrateful, just feel kinda taken back and somewhat insulted, I thought things were supposed to be getting better/rewarding?

No update on Desync!? I played last week and its horrendous. Rockets going thru Center Mass & AOE not Killing, Dispicable RNG Hammer Physics, Getting Shot when Completely Covered... That, and the lag compensation is just too compensatory (partly because it can help with desync as well). It's currently a slap to the face to anyone with good speeds and a stable 20-30ms. Imagine having stable and tested 1gb fiber speeds with low ping (20-30, live near the servers) and still taking damage behind a wall for a solid 0.7 seconds because Timmy is being compensated for their 200+ ping. Getting shot when getting behind walls is some of the worst in Infinite compared to other FPS. Compensation too high :/

Oh tell me about it. People are going to complete the pass and then realize how little this update actually brought. This is really one of the weakest updates we've had.

And the thing about it is something about this entire situation just smells off. We've got, like, at least two items (the Mutilator shotgun and the Falcon) practically ready-to-go... where are they? There's a lot of datamined weapons and vehicles as well as maps that are being or have been developed, and all we got was a single map? I mean, Illusion is cool, but how long is it going to be until the next content update? There's just radio silence.

Plus those armors (aside from Omega Team) that are in the shop right now? You cannot convince me those weren't intended to be part of a season pass. There's just no way. I think Microsoft told them to do that.

Dev studios do care about money but devs themselves do it because they want to make art. I don't think 343i had this on their agenda to begin with.
