Every weapon in this awful sandbox is a sweat weapon. Headshots only. Where's the spray and pray? The Saw, SMG, Storm Rifle, or the fun guns like the Spartan laser and Railgun? Or like halo 5 with MULTIPLE versions of the same weapon in the sandbox? Halo 2 BR, CE Magnum, etc THE F-ING SHOTGUN???

I think the disruptor nerfs were a huge step back. It felt somewhat distinctive without being super OP. Now there’s not much reason to pick it up except specifically to use it as an anti-vehicle option, and even then the shock rifle does it better.

Eh, im still never gonna go back. Personally Halo is just a burning memory, something i loved dearly but have come to accept that its time has passed and its time to move on. I dont really even play multiplayer games anymore as its all just too sweaty and i work too often to 'get good'.

8:23 I 100% agree. A live service game doesn't launch in a "beta" state where features are added over years, especially if the game is from an existing franchise. A game like Minecraft can get away with it because its all new. Halo isn't all new anymore. There are expectations. The game should be in a launch state, only waiting on the order to release, at keast 2 months prior to the release date of the game witb all features included. This will ensure a proper head start for development time on subsequent releases. If the studio isnt at least one season ahead on content that is being worked on, they are behind and will need to revert to slow updates that end up killing the community except for all but the most hardcore of fans.

Basically any of the weapons from Halo 3, I believe should be in the game. DMR, as cool as it would be, would be competing with Bandit and Commando. The I fully believe the carbine needs a return, because the sralker rifle is a weird, if cool, middle ground between the Carbine and Beam Rifle, and I think we need to see a broadening of those Covenant options. We may not have the Covenant in campaign, but we have both Covenant and Banished palettes in forge and should have access to both sets of vehicles and weapons to match whatever map we make.
Edit: Some of the weapons from Reach would be cool, like the grenade launcher. It had a unique niche and could fall under the same category as the shock weapons. The concussion rifle, plasma launcher, and needle rifle would be cool to see, too. This would allow us to have themes fiesta games, too. 343 and Microsoft can't afford another Halo release without Forge, without a deep progression system with unlockable rewards tied to your rank and challenges, without a Custom Games Browser, without classic 8v8 BTB with at least 5 dev build maps on launch, a match composer with at least 10 maps for 4v4 Arena with a great variety in layouts, designs AND aesthetics. Infinite's launch content was lacking a lot of variety and diversity. They just can't release another game as barebones and unfinished as Infinite or the franchise will simply be death for good.

Restricting color choice and selling colors, and basic colors at that, was the worst thing about the customization/monetization. And the community should’ve never allowed that. It screamed greed and, laziness when they were trying to figure what to monetize. Monetizing what was always free is pure greed. Even cod didn’t do that, and their prices are egregious.

Sell the next game for $70 US on all platforms and simultaneously release on GamePass. Have campaign, co-op, forge, PVP, PVPVE on release. Do quarterly season battle passes for $20 a pass and keep them chocked full of limited events and unlockable cosmetics. Figure out what to actually fill a shop with since your IP does not lend itself to star and brand placement as easily as COD.
343i really sucks at bundling the feeling FOMO and of getting value from a season pass.

I want the content from the older events to be brought back. In cyber showdown 1 I only managed to get one of the special shoulder pads and the fact that I am restricted to an asymmetrical spartan if I want to use the shoulder pad is killing me. It’s kind of grown on me, but I’d still prefer if the asymmetrical look was a choice, not a byproduct of the event ending early.

It was A big enough shit show to kill off the series for any potential new fans and destroyed a big chunk of the legacy players. It’s a travesty what 343 has done to halo over the years and for Phil letting Bonnie Ross and other egos run wild on the series. Also screw the pros that ruined the shock nade, You guys hate fun yes? I wonder if there was a way for shock nades to be different on ranked and other modes? But I doubt the spaghetti engine would allow it, it can’t even handle multi team.

Mint, when are you going to talk about pre game and post game lobbies? Even H5 had that. Nothings better than engaging in talking with your team or opponents so it feels like im actually playing somebody. Like it did back in all the other Halos. IDK if its doable since the games just countdown and start the matches. I assume they took it off because they didnt want any trash talkers in the game because some players beed thicker skin. We need pre game and post game lobbies.

Any OG weapon is fine with me. And any vehicle from the old Halo games, even the Halo Wars will work for me. As long as it's balanced, it's fine by me.

Please make precision rifles not absolutely destroy the vehicles eg the banshee because omg that crap annoyed me to no end in halo reach. Let's get that out of infinite. I know they upped the amount of damage vehicles can take but it still sucks.
And can we just have vehicles spawn on the big team maps? I think in my 400 hrs of playing infinite I've only used the scorpion in custom games. What the heck is that?

And can we just have vehicles spawn on the big team maps? I think in my 400 hrs of playing infinite I've only used the scorpion in custom games. What the heck is that?

Og Plasma Rifle and MA5B Assault Rifle. Why is that variant only in CE? Would love to have it back. A "skin" isnt enough.
