The one thing about Xemu is that you need a good CPU to not get any input lag. I'm running on a CPU from 2016/2017 and the input lag makes it really hard for me to play. I've heard that modern CPUs don't have noticeable input lag, so keep that in mind.

This goes to show you the true test of how the old bungie halo games stood up the test of time compared to 343i's games.
Halo 2 online multiplayer was truly something special to experience back in the day on the original xbox where you potentially meet great friends and genuinely having a fun time with little to no gripes in the back of your mind unlike how I felt with Halo infinite when it first launched.

The early 2000's. Before social media took off as much, and society didn't feel as disconnected. Isolation was less of a thing. And video games were REQUIRED to have SOUL to sell or else they wouldn't profit like they can today regardless of launch problems.

As someone who was born in 03, i always have a care for Halo's Legacy. For years I keep think to myself "Man I keep if I can time travel, I would go back to 04 or 07 to see how cool Halo really was". Some of my friends called me weird for playing Halo 3, GTA IV, and MW2 too much and not playing Black Ops 3, GTA V, or Fornite. Not saying Old is always better than new, some games are better than their successors. Im not playing them just for nostalgia.

Social features and post-game lobbies are not complicated to implement; the issue is that modern gaming companies are not interested in adding them. They're worried about lawsuits, having to moderate them, complaints and people being scared away. They're awesome features that are sadly ruined because people don't want to have to mute other players if they are annoying, or when others are dicks.

We need these features back as optional enables!!! Lethal Company and silly stuff like Battlebit have reproved how awesome they can be when done right. I recently came back to Infinite from Overwatch and was disappointed I couldn't compliment an enemy for their crazy nice shot or when we snuck up back and forth on each other just messing around in BTB social having fun

Love this so much! Nintendo fans are preparing to do something similar as the Nintendo 3DS and Wii U servers go offline in two weeks, fans are preparing to launch fans servers to take their place very soon to hopefully make the transition smoother. So many amazing games that deserve to have their online enjoyed for longer. I can't wait to try out Halo 2's servers on PC!!!
