I think halo infinite is a colossal missed opportunity of potential. There are so many things that 343 Could have done to make this game absolutely amazing and marvelous. I could’ve looked past the problems with slip space engine. If we had infection, forge, Some of the other cores, The customs browser, The bandit, and Forge AI, as well as firefight, This game would’ve been incredible. Unfortunately, the greed of Microsoft outweighs the potential of 343, They are the real problem and they are what are holding this franchise back. They’re more concerned with making shows, and trying to bleed the community of money in their micro transactions, rather than just create a good game. On that note, I don’t know what 343 has against playable elites with this whole “it’s a Spartan story” nonsense But I can guarantee you, you will win back so many halo fans, if you just add playable elites. That are created on YouTube and various other social media platforms Make a game look fun. Sacrificing that for a new story model, that doesn’t work, simply isn’t the right thing to do. It alienates part of your base. Infinite is fun it really is, It’s so close to being correct, but it falls short.

My main problem with this game is the outlines, since launch I really hate the outlines it doesn't feel like halo at all, it feels like im playing just another fps game.

I wouldn't count on the next Halo game releasing in a playable or complete state. The industry as a whole is just not capable of doing this anymore. Releasing with a fully working shop though yeah you can bet on that happening.

There's so much stuff that's basically finished. They need to just push it out. It may feel a little too late but I haven't really touched infinite since the start of the spirit of fire update. Compared to before I was playing a ton.

New maps are great. Forge is so powerful and has been fun. The networking update was good and very much needed.
I'm just tired of being "excited" for these updates only for it to be new maps and new overpriced cosmetics.
The new weapons and vehicles should be released to make matches feel fresh and different.
As someone who enjoys the campaigns, the lore, and the story, they should merely focus on multiplayer and releases like this and let a second studio focus on the story.

It hasn't even been 3 years yet lol it'd be dumb for them to stop content and updates. Many games get 10+ years of support like this was originally going to get. So many missing weapons from old Halo games and vehicles, modes and much more along with bugs and other stuff.

what i would like to see changed in future game is a new color pallete. if the colors were vibrant like fortnites colors, and they remove a lot of the realism, the game would simply thrive like never before. i would LOVEEEEE to see the games visuals simplified, and less noisy. the rubble, the broken stuff the over details walls and floors need to be removed. the colliding meshes need to be smooth for optimal gamplay. and grenade bounces should work differently on different surfaces. alos a huge issue with grenades that i don't see people talking about, they are not the same as the bungie grenade. they are super upredictable with damage, it should be volumetric, ( it seems it is projectile based, which is terrible for consistency ) i mean the list goes on. halo 3 had most of these things covered and more, like dynamic hovering platform ( ex. epitaph rocket platform ). i want to see the new halo simplified.

All the weapons feel lack luster, gunplay feels like your typical early 2000s shooter. Which i get if you wanna argue that halo is still trying to feel the same, but I just think machine guns, thumping weapons and such, should feel strong. Not like .22 long rifles

I'm so disappointed that they're already moving on to the next project. The entire point of Halo Infinite was that it was supposed to be their forever game. I get that that isn't realistic, but dropping the game after a couple of years is a slap in the face.

To be quite honest, I just wish for 2 things. 1: 343 should bring the price for store bought cosmetics and credits down and 2: Make a way to let players get the items they couldn't get during specific seasons or time-frames for free that way they're not being left out. Also make all of the coatings cross core and not just most of them for the love of god.

I already gave up on this game. It’s fundamentally flawed in design. Physics and mechanics do not work and maps are redesigned to accommodate features like sprint and clamber when they didn’t need to before.

I love the new maps, also I’ve heard and it does feel like they did some more networking to the game and honestly it makes the SBMM much more bare able, I was actually able to win like 3 games in a row before losing one game do to having not that good of players on my team, still not a fan of SBMM but it feels so much better and my shots actually register

honestly i gave up and just started working on my own halo project within halo where i just use forge as a snadbox and compoleatly make my own campign. I only play Super fiesta and swat bc BP points but other than that ive givenup. we need new guns, vechials like, smg, falcon, pelican phantom, pelican ai pelican drop, drop pods, fuck i could go on, I SAY ADD THINGS THE COMUINTY COULD USE TO MAKE YOUR GAME BETTER. A single pelican ai drop spawner and a flyable pelican would do so much for mulitiplayer BTB

I dont really think we need dev maps, 343 has proven they are too incompetent to make unique maps beyond the style of what we have already. Community made maps are the way fo go, new forge canvases would be best.

I’m actually so afraid that halo as a whole universe will stop being built upon. With the mishandling of the series by 343 people will start to loss interest and no money will come in so halo as a collective will cease to exist. It has such a massive universe and could truly cover many corners of gaming, books and show genres like Star Wars has. To me honestly in the last few years halo has run a ground with its gameplay with the games but the books can still continue (although story wise with the direction of developers the show has given me little hope) but with the chance of different types of games being deployed like halo wars being a rts what has a small but much lived following it could expand to what many people have asked for being a horror game with the flood it can be so expansive yet I keep getting the feeling that halo will completely fail in the years to come

- I want all “vaulted” items to be un-vaulted. Buying into a battle pass sucks imo, let us in free, and for those that want to spend money to max it out, let them do that. I jokingly say this, but: If i wanted my cosmetics to be vaulted, I’d go back to Warframe. 🤣
- Keep campaign as a staple of Halo, and keep it open world for the next iteration. Add some replay-ability to it. Yeah.. Im a Campaign Queen, especially running around collecting logs, cores, lockers, high value targets. I’d like to see Random events, FOB upgrades, an option to take one of those huge strongholds to use as a main UNSC base, Base attacks that you can choose to neutralize all targets yourself, or entrust your marines to hold it down. While I enjoyed the Campaign, I felt it was lacking much in terms of making it look “active”. Not even referencing the announcement let downs, im talking about enemy engagements, marines in gunfights beyond just rescuing squads and capturing bases. Give us more lore to find, and dont make it half baked pls. Those Halo Ring Artifacts that we scan, the furthest I get to understand is that the rings are an apologetic warning. I wanna know more lore, and see more forerunner secrets and artifacts. Things that maybe augment the UNSC’s tech med and firepower by several orders of magnitude. I do enjoy the game, it wasnt as bad as it was at the start, but it sort of feels like 343i are starting to understand the Universe that was entrusted to them, and the fans - who despite the degrading state of gaming and developing lately - we’re trusting them. They have the skills, they have the set. Forma cohesive narrative, and collectively work to have a solid idea of what it will be.

I would like for a UI component that makes me see in real time who is talking on the mic from my team so I don't have to tab and see the icon there like make the name light up a little or even an icon next to the name on top of the player model cuz sometimes you hear "two guys on me " but I don't who that is 😅

Even though I'll still dabble in it every now and then, there's a reason why so many gamers have moved on to other franchises. But the community maps are pretty freaking impressive. Some of these fans are on another level and its sadly the best part of what 343 has to offer.

Getting splattered for no reason, vehicule physics never shine because we have next to no explosive weapons (brute shot hello ????), and I'm seeing people teleporting with 16 ms, making the game unplayable for some matches. How do I feel you ask? Well after sticking with it for over a year and placing onyx every season I called it quits because it’s still the same damn maps in ranked. They took out more maps from ranked than they put in. I get hcs pros don’t want those maps in the rotation but it’s stale af as is and I’m no pro. So no matter how many great updates they have it doesn’t matter because I’m tired of playing streets, live fire, and recharge. And releasing a snow version of an already existing map and calling it new is just a joke.

Historically since forge released I halo 3, halo has depended heavily on fan made maps. Especially in reach. It’s nice that creators get special cosmetics for their work. Frankly, I don’t give a shit if all the maps are fan made and not dev made. As long as they play good.
