I queued for ranked solo today and ended up finding a group of 3 other players that invited me and played 4 hours straight of halo ranked. It was awesome. I agree it’s not perfect at all but man I had so much fun today.

This is what makes me the saddest and most disappointed about Halo infinite at this point. This game is, IMO, the best game 343 has made that captured that true Halo spirit. Infinites gameplay has a great mix of adapting new features in modern games while capturing what made the original games so magical. Even though i enjoyed and had fun with Halo 4 and 5, they ultimately had aspects that missed the mark on what made Halo "Halo". But its ironic to think how Halo 5 felt more like a "live service" than Halo Infinite with all the new variants and maps and weapons being added. Its unfortunate that this game was caught in a massive flux between the old and new management, and may explain the stalemate with getting all this 90% finished content across the line. Its clear some folks at 343 care about this franchise and game and want the best for it, but they still seem stuck behind poor management from above. I was really excited to see all that other leaked content arrive in the game in later updates to freshen up the gameplay, but parts of it just feel stale at that point without all this other content. It almost seems all should move on and try to hope for the best with the next game.

At this point I feel like they decided to hold back new weapons and vehicles for the next halo game. Adding it this late is probably not worth it at this point and won't give a good ROI. New weapons or vehicles won't save Infinite so minus well just use it for the next game to pack as much content as possible into that one. Infinite is nearing the end of it's life cycle which is becoming clear.

I’ve been having a lot of issues connecting to lobbies in the custom games browser. I’ll have to restart the game because I’ll be stuck trying to connect and can’t back out. Also I’ve had shots not register whatsoever when shooting through the drop wall in super husky raid. Feels like 343 is getting complacent with infinite. Kinda disappointing. Off topic but the classic shotgun needs to return. I like the bulldog, but it doesn’t fill the void whatsoever

I'm so sick of this sort of thing happening to my favorite series. A new installment is released in a broken, incomplete state. The developers spend the next couple years fixing a lot of the serious issues that should've been addressed BEFORE launch. Much of the content and features that were touted before launch never gets implemented because support gets pulled a couple years in and, while the game may have come a long way in improving since launch, there is always still much that needs to be done when support is pulled... and all the game's potential goes to waste, and we never get a lot of what was showcased. Promised, even.
This is extremely frustrating. Enough is enough. Publishers and developers need to reevaluate how game development is done. This is not good, and gamers are rightfully sick of it.

All I want in halo infinite is no desync and no blanks. None of the armor in shop has looked remotely good. Just been buying hcs stuff. A sandbox refresh would be nice. Blanks need to not happen ever, ridiculous that we are this far in and I'm getting several a game.

Putting up to 10 new armor sets in the shop is insulting to anyone supporting this game i think putting 2 armors in these little battle passes and maybe giving one away in the weekly rewards through the event would go along way they could do whatever with the other 7 armors but having everyone look the same unless they spend money makes the free cosmetics feel lazy

Halo Infinite has the best gameplay loop a modern HALO game can have (IMO), yet it feels so restricted by the lack of polish, the limited sandbox, and the lack of content updates.

They really need to fix everything & build upon Halo Infinite to re-release as a new title / this scrapping everything every year is why we are in this mess. Even if they go to some other engine it is a cultural problem that they need to get sorted so they have a good base to build upon for future titles. They won’t get too many more chances to get this right if their next game releases in a similar state to Infinite.

I think something important 343 should know is that you Mint are probably the main reason I jumped back into infinite. You present the game very well and have created a sense of community which has always been a crucial part of halo

Halo 5's maps weapons and vehicles were actually awesome. They just needed to combine all that from Halo 5 with they gameplay physics and loop from infinite.

I can’t play anything other than gruntpocalypse, husky raid or super fiesta. I’d love to play ranked or social objectives or anything else but for that I’d have to wait like 10mins for a match. Honestly, until the next game comes out, I’m probably gonna spend most of my time in customs (which still has a lot of bugs) or just playing other games, which sucks cause I just want halo to be fun but it’s not really.

You should do a video where you investigate the most effective way that we as a community can provide feedback and pressure on how to make the changes we want and how to have a discusion on what the devs need monitesation wise to propress the game.

Why didn't they allow searching for multiple games on the playlist. It is the stupidest thing they've done and it killed the game since 2 months after launch. It's split the playerbase and led to most of the favourite modes being left unplayed in preference of the top of list mode. Casuals dont care about there not being any new weapons/vehicles or maps or a crap tonne of MTX, if you cant get a game, you're simply not going to keep playing. 343i has made halo feel like they don't want you to play it..

The frustration is that it really just seems like the whole game is badly managed. Most of the stuff they do come out with is good, but inconsistently timed and updated. There’s clearly a lot of talent that goes into this game, but no real focus on creating a well-rounded experience.

I really wish this game was polished and fixed cause it had so much potential to be the best Halo game thus far; unfortunately it's barely functioning, it's...for lack of a better word boring, there's no incentive to play the game, there's very minimal work being done for the lifetime of the game, andddddddd the microtransactions just ruin the entirety of what makes cosmetics worth getting in the first place.

I love playing infinite. It’s such a fun game. But of course it could be (dare I say) infinitely better if they would expand the sandbox and add more modes too. What about action sack? What about grifball? What about preventing spawn camping in husky raid?
