I am going to guess the reason your getting such high ping now is there probably not enough people playing the game in your region in Australia most of the time. The new network model and match composer, while maybe it might have found matches faster at first, now the main problem is the amount of people playing in your region (and going to guess that is the core main issue where you live). Since so many people as you know play Halo in the USA, that is why your ping is most likely going to be higher.
If you did move to the USA (which I know you won't), you would have far less of these problems.

Totally agree about gameplay. Its like halo 3, peak halo for me, but with the new fresh mechanics. but not the uneven powerups that you'd get in xdefiant or apex.

im an mnk player since like 2007 , so im kinda used to it lol and i love halo since day one of halo ce but i never played halo on mnk until infinite arrives , at starts the game was not finished as everybody knows but i felt really good with my mnk and finally i returned to the games some days ago and i immediatly felt something weird with my mouse so i checked and found that they put non disable aim assist on mnk , as soon as i knew that i woulnd be able take any pleasure to play , but apart of that the game is awesome nowadays so im really sad tbh .. hope theyll fix this
