Ive never bought cosmetics in games, they're not physical and a waste of money when the game you're playing dies.
The problem with infinite is that if I'm not having fun or get bored, I'm not playing the game.
Shooters in the 2010s would have multiplayer progression, I'd get fed up with the game but having something shiny and new within reach would convince me to get back into it.
There's just no incentive to get back into playing Infinte, and now there is no content, what's the point
I was glad that MW 2019 still had weapon challenges so I could go and unlock new weapons despite everything being in the shop for crazy money

Microsoft needs to figure out that the same old money grab schemes don't work anymore. Fan-focused content is what makes or breaks a game nowadays. Plus with Indie games coming out on top, they can learn a thing or two from them. I am a die hard Halo fan. To see it so low is like losing a friend.

Rather than a store every time in MCC and Infinite, I'd need to see a kickstarter or Patreon page with a fundraiser bar and clear goals, and milestones, such as new campaign missions and cutscenes, playable Covenant/Flood/Forerunner factions, new vehicles/spacecraft/aircraft/watercraft fir the different facfions, and various other indications they aren't spending it all on coffee and beer and cosmetics.

If 343 wants to test the waters with UE5, they should do Halo Legends style mini campaigns. Sgt Mabuto' Library run, first battle of Contact Harvest, NMPD at the beginning of the Earth invasion. Smallish stories that they'd have a lot of the resources for already including lore material. I'd even take reimagined cut missions from existing games.

New weapons and maps please. Take some guns out like the 4 shot plasma tracker, and the evo rifle may e too replace some newer stuff take out ravenger too may e had two kills with it over 400 hours playing.

My father, my brothers, my friends and I all used to play halo through LAN parties or xbl when life threw distance at us. I haven't touched Infinite in about a year. Last time my oldest bro and I played it only lasted about an hour before we parted ways for the evening.
HALO just isn't what it used to be. It's become a beggar on the street corner asking fir spare change just to make their misery a little more tolerable. It's former life butchered just to make Big Corp an extra dollar. I'd rather choke on sand than support these decisions 343 has made.
HALO is just a childhood memory now. HALO REACH was the last big laugh I shared with friends as we tested the limits of the game in forge or matchmaking.
HALO isn't about telling a story or bringing the fans together. It's just another way to get milk or lunch money from the broke kids.
Some days I get home from work and think "Today feels like an ODST day". On these days I'm reminded why I just don't care to boot up HALO. I think it's time we all we take a step away and see if that will send a message.
Knowing how XBOX Corp is, it just might get 343 shut down, then no more HALO.

Soon after Spartan Points took over, I finally gave up. Sad as the trajectory was so promising up until that point. Everything they have done is self defeating, why would anyone invest money to buy cosmetics for a dying game? It just doesn't make sense.

I think I have a great map idea but if I'm not getting anything out of it what's the point cause a wile back i stopped playing only returning when there was a new update but now I'm not returning at all due to all the rigged matchmaking and micro transactions like one season costs 1000 credits for a hundred tier pass I'm fine with that and we get our money back with an operation we're paying 500 credits for a twenty tier pass we are paying more for less and now there is a way to get cosmetics with out cash (excluding operations) but it take weeks to get. nowadays everything is crap and we rarely get any thing good. mint blitz and us die hard fans can warn them all we want but they rarely listen at this point we're preaching to the crowd (aka viewers) we can only hope at this point.

The thing is though... they absolutely can keep doing this, at least for now. There's a lot of negative social media reactions but whales are still buying armor and giving them more money than they ever made from making games. That's the only language they understand. It's tough to say "just do small content drops", because that's not just a team of a few devs. You also need to pull people from QA, game asset creation, concept artists, etc. And create a new pipeline for delivering that content consistently. For a company, that juice is rarely worth the squeeze. It's just easier to move everyone onto new projects, keep the cosmetic pipeline going, and just keep the lights on so to speak for a bit longer until the new money maker is released.

Its such a shame what halo infinite is going through, I really enjoyed the campaign and the multiplayer is my second favorite behind halo 2. It had the potential to be one of the best halo games ever, but instead investors want to run it through the ringer to get every cent out of it they can. It would be a miracle if they saved it, all I can hope for is for the ce remake to be amazing and maybe halo infinite to have one last good content drop before they pull the plug

Given that they've basically moved on to the next game and are more or less just sweeping up what's left into a dustpan, they should cut all prices of all items by at least 30% to 50%. Because they're not actively adding new content, it's occasionally sprinkled content that's already been finished for about a year and the rest is done by the Forge teams that have been hard at work. By cutting the prices, it at least would dull the flames being breathed down their back by all of the community.

Imagine the message that would be sent to 343, if you quit Halo. Imagine that. You and all the Halo tubers totally quit halo. Imagine what would happen.

I’ve dropped this game already..just move on to other games because I’ve absolutely lost faith in this company.it’s a shame really because I’ve loved halo since I was 6 years old .

I respect the fact that you said you criticize it bc of how 343 is mishandling the game but offer solution but at the same time 343 are tryna make it to were they are trying to remake it in their own image and not realize that bungie is the one that made halo feel like halo. Also hearing about 343 hating on bungie devs to the point they fired them and not acknowledging what they did for the franchise. Also they have a lot of wrooong ppl working for 343 that hate shooter games due to personal reasons and that is a straight up red flag

You said that for the people who stuck around after all this time on Infinite, they should get something like a new map or weapon. But seriously, who tf cares about that? Like after all this BS are you going to be satisfied with 1 new map or a new gun? Like what?
