@@MintBlitz This game started development around 9 years ago. This game should have came out in 2018 or 2019. Also, Halo 7 should have came out in 2022 or 2023. We should be talking about what will be in Halo 8 when it comes it in 2026 or 2027. Instead, we have a broken game and we are hoping that Halo 7 comes out sometime this decade.

Played a lot the last few days. The server problems only hit us 1-2 times, it was mostly fine.
The nerf on AR is kinda weird as I thought it was in a good spot before.
The bandit is still great imo, but maybe thats just for me as I am really bad with the BR.

I just play MCC. I uninstalled Infinite a while back and don't see a reason to go back to it. MCC has the content and the players, going back to Infinite requires me to go out of my way and I bet most MCC players feel the same!

I've wanted to believe in Halo Infinite, and I did, for most of it. I really thought that the we had it going at some point and then 343 just dropped it and now any update to the game just feels like salt in the wound. Every single times I have that Halo Infinite line from when you lose a game saying "Too little too late" and it's exactly how I feel about Infinite.
At the very least if they could pull proper new updates but they are barely even good enough. Balance is always made terribly. Game mods are always way too late. Cosmetics are still plagued by way too many issues, Maps are almost always only good if made by the Forge community, and they aren't even getting paid. No new weapons or vehicles and so much more... It's just sad.

Love the weapon changes. But the lack of new weapons and vehicles is really unfortunate. Don’t even have to come up with new ones. There’s so many sandbox items that already exist in the Halo universe that could be added to make fans happy

ive played this game pretty minimally, i haven't touched it since launch granted i have tons of hours on previous halos. I literally laughed when you said halo infinite doesn't have assault, just goes to show 343's priority's. Cosmetics and Micro transactions > great gameplay with a variety of gametypes. what is funny about the update is that ever since, I've only been finding <60ms ping games. Before with the SBMM I was finding games of upwards of 350ms ping. I was having way more fun NOT CONSTANTLY quitting shit ping games.

The AR feels like a hybrid of CE and 3's now. I hate using it due to the increased movement speed of these later games, but it feels very rewarding when you get a kill now.

Bandit is still better in comp because you have to hit 3 shots with the br and only one with the bandit for max damage. Bandit will beat br from close to mid range almost every time still and. Sidekick isn’t always available on every map. I think the change is good because it will slow down ttk making strafes more valuable.
