I played BTB a couple hours ago... the gameplay was fun, but out of 5 matches, only ONE was on a new map. Halo Studios has a mode preference feature. If I don't want to play swat, I can remove it from the list. This should be the same with maps! Or at least a map voting system!

There's a few positives overall with recent news but anything good is ultimately "community makes this cool thing" which counts its just really want Halo Studios to actually make cool stuff, my idea is third person spartans vs elites invasion since all the models are already there cause firefight, they have the tools to make it.

Hey Remi, I'm not sure if you're the right person as you mostly do updates and news but I've been thinking of the halo vehicle philosophy ever since Bungie added the Spectre to reach.
People talk about the "dance" and "rock, paper, scissors" when it comes to Halo weapons. Bungie gave each faction a certain "role" like Covenant/plasma weapons are better at close range and shredding shields while UNSC weapons generally are better at a range and do more damage after shields are broken.
I feel like Bungie had an entirely other system with vehicles but arguably more important.
Almost all UNSC vehicles needed teamwork.
The warthog, mongoose, Falcon and hornet(& elephant) I would say are more objective/team focused. They also need at least 2 players to be effective at doing damage.
While Covenant vehicles like the ghost and phantom are faster single person vehicles. Great at doing damage and going solo.
The exception for both factions being their tanks. (Scorpion and wraith)
With more vehicles being added I feel like these features are getting lost. The gungoose, Wasp and mantis are all damage focused vehicles and mostly focused on a solo player.

I haven't touched this game in months. I've been considering uninstalling. I've been a die hard halo fan for about 20 years and infinites gameplay WAS fun to me, but now ita just boring. The prices have made me lose interest in any updates when they show off new armor and weapon skins. The lack of sandbox diversity has made the game boring as hell. Every match feels the same. I either do really well, or lose horribly. Forge is still my favorite thing to do in infinite, but I have no inspiration for it anymore. I've managed to go through 20 years of halo, from being a child myself, to growing up, getting married, and having 4 kids, all while being interested in this franchise. The show was horrible, this game was great but they let it die so quickly. Maybe it really is an issue with the engine, but I absolutely think it's more. I've been using the new brute shotgun for a while now, ever since it was put in forge. I hate the fuel rod spnkr. It's neat looking skin, but I hate it. It's the fuel rod we have at home.
Idk I'm done ranting. I'm gonna keep watching your videos and staying up to date, but I think I'm completely done with this game. If I am, I'll see yall in the next one.

They could easily put in Modes that are identical to existing modes just named differently: "featured (insert game mode)" into the playlists and only put the new maps into those modes, that would give the players the control on how they want to experience the new content.

As a guy who only gets enjoyment out of playing Ranked Playlists, it’s very hard to enjoy Halo Infinite. From the moment I get out of work there is no population or it’s impossible to find a game. I love Halo Infinite, it’s one of my favorite games, but dear lord I can only play it on the weekends because of my day offs and the fact that I can actually FIND a match.

I still feel like the gameplay and bones are good, but it just reminds me of how high Infinite could've reached. How tf do they keep getting the same thing wrong over and over again especially when it comes to SBMM? It literally makes no sense. They are wasting more resources getting things wrong and having to rollback everytime than just getting things right from the go. I was actually thinking about hopping back on recently because I really enjoy this game, but it dawned on me how the game just isn’t worth my time and energy with how poorly it’s mishandled, and I uninstalled instead.

The solution to empty playlists isn't to erase SBMM, it's to reduce the number of playlists significantly. Social, Arena, and Free for All. That's it. Getting rid of SBMM is a key reason nobody plays. Nobody wants to get stomped by sweatlords.

At this point I'm surprised to hear that it still seems like the matchmaking algorithm isn't dynamic. I get that getting the right values for everyone to be able to play and have fun without getting steamrolled or getting bored while steamrolling, but the least you can do is make the system adapt to the swings in player population throughout the day, at least compensating for that if not using that system to effectively brute force your way to a best value based on community feedback (people saying "hey, the lobbies feel the best at x time of day" is much more sensible for the devs to be aiming for than people saying "hey, we literally cannot play at x time of day" - as in, make the former statement an algorithmic impossibility, I'm not criticizing the criticism given in this video).

The population continues to dwindle so they double...ney...TRIPLE down on on the SBMM to a point where experienced players are indirectly being told to quit the game because they want to give our Ws to the noobs that are playing for the first time so that they'll spend $$$ at the shop. At this point your experience will become worse as you improve unless you consistently play with a stack. What's apparent is the game is clearly broken. We keep thinking a studio full of talented thinkers keep getting it wrong. My theory is they are doing things less than optimal because these are the only ways to navigate the technical difficulties they have struggled and battled with since day 1. I think the next game is going to be a clear step in the right direction.

At this point it's pretty obvious that "Halo Studios" is 100% just a reskinned 343i. I have seen no difference since they changed the name. They are still top tier anti-fun when it comes to games and unfortunately they were put in charge of an IP that actually matters. Rip. Halo deserved so much better.

I was all excited when I was surprised that the BTB update came out on my bday! I thought HS loved me, just to find out I couldn’t play the new maps. Sucks cause I took the day off to play H:I all day. However, since I’m a nerd and luckily KevinKool posted a quick video almost the same day of the update, he did mention how he also couldn’t play the new maps. So I started to read the comments, by then it was already towards the end of the day. Somewhere on there someone commented saying to try only playing the new gametype. Only play Extraction, Assault, etc. so on my second day off Sat. I tried it. AND IT WORKED!!! My son and I played only those game types and we only played on the new maps. I can confirm it works. Flood Gulch is amazing.

What u need to tell them is to make a way to select the maps u dnt want to play on or select the maps u do wanna play on and it exclude the rest so that way they dnt have to make a specific playlist and people can just always play the maps they want and never have to play the maps they dnt want to

It is completely unsurprising to me that "Floodgulch" was made by Halo Studios. They CLEARLY did not playtest the map with good players. It's so obvious it's painful. The double healthpack bottom-base along with the tank AND banshee being on the map are incredible balancing fails.

Halo used to be a game that cared about the players. They so badly wanted to be call of duty and the other competitive franchises as the main attention grabber. Problem is nobody really cares because they didn’t put enough heart and soul into the game itself to build attention and a new generation players looking forward to halo. I miss Halo.
