The devs dont really know/are able to "add" new stuff like animations, gameplay elements and code. All the new stuff is already existing stuff with changes. Fuel rod spnkr, its the rocket launcher with the hunters projectiles + auido from h5 fuel rod. The mutilator is new but that was made by devs back when we actually had "new" stuff made by actual devs. They have stepped it up tho with new sound effects for the mutilator. But i doubt that needed new code and stuff.
Progress at the end of the day, respect for that but they still need to step it up if they want us to to stay.

It's a huge shame, we've seen what they can do with Halo 5, the Wasp aircraft for example, I think it was Halo's first added new vehicle, but it behaves like the Hornet kinda but weaker.

Fun fact that sounds made up but is actually true-Halo Infinite has received more post launch content and has had more content in general than any halo game in history has. Even on day 1, there was more customization than Halo 3, and just as many maps as halo 3 on launch.

Anyone remember the Cougar APC? A few years ago they mentioned about being excited to get it into flighting and how it would ignite discussions on what to take to a mission and it being inbetween a Warthog and a Scorpion in terms of balancing, we need that and the Falcon, both were leaked although the Cougar was bright red and unfinished but had a detailed turret, and chassis.
