I’m sorry but I’m not waiting another unspecified amount of years for a halo game. I’ve given up on this franchise. MCC came out 11 years ago, and in that 11 years we barely got 3 titles, where 2 under delivered dramatically. The books aren’t the best way to deliver important story information. I’ve Been a halo fan for 20+ years and always looked forward to every game with so much excitement. But with all the letdowns, i just can’t go on holding onto a franchise that’s been brutally mistreated by 343 industries (halo studios), and Microsoft. (Not shaming the ppl who worked pain staking hours to build the games.)

Seeing as the Halo franchise is going to be available to PS, it's time to do a Reboomakestered relaunch of the franchise re-release.
PS users love reboots/remakes/remasters and relaunches/re-releases of games. MS can recharge everyone that played them and went to PS, and everyone in Game Pass will get it day 1. Everyone wins, RePlayStation gets to repay to replay old games, MS makes money, XB owners and PC get their copy in Game Pass, lobbies are filled with players so matchmaking time should be low.
Lastly:
I'd have Phil Spencer personally go and bring Marty O'Donnel back in.

I wish Halo Studios were more open with what they're doing besides supporting Halo Infinite. They aren't in a position where they can tease the fans with "upcoming announcements" and expect an excited reaction to it imo.
All the absolute silence and lack of actual news does is people trying to tie clues together from "leaks" we can't even be sure are true, nor can we put it in the right context for certain.
Even the rumor that the devs aren't happy with the development of the new Halo game can mean almost anything. - They ruined the uniqueness of evil with making enemies have a deep lore and passion behind their moment like the great joruney. Old Halo didnt just follow the generic evil red lair and monster talking enemies, but used purple, and made our foes have honor and motive. Now we just have grrr rawr rawr im but and evil and everything i like is red.
- They killed Cortana. The most important character in the entire franchise. OFF-SCREEN MIND U. Now we have this child we have to raise to be the new cortana which is just horrendous. There is no doubt there was a deep connection between cortana and chief, some might even argue romantical. Regardless, its gone. Destroyed, and could never return with this kid we have now.
- They destroyed the infinity. I mean this ship we meant to be the new revolution for humanity, a ship that actually gave humanity an edge in the war, and its just gone, again mosty OFF-SCREEN and we just start from ground zero all over again.
- The theme and tone of halo is far from gone. Halo was a serious title. A deep, strong, and dark game. One that needed moments of comedic relief to keep it from getting too far. Now its a joke. Look at the damn new banished AI in that one cutscene, ARE YOU SERIOUS, what kind of joke was that, what is this a kids game? Then those AIs you can equip in multiplayer just ruin the game even more! This game turned into a marketing scheme rather than a game with focus and character.
- The company lies. They promised no microtransactions and to this day infinite still has them. Old halos didnt make you pay a stupid monthly subscription to get full access to the game, and now this one does. They said they wouldnt do it, and they did. They showed their true faces and we all know this step will not be reversed.
- Battle Royale Game, really??? This could easily just be a gamemode in a main game but no, this will just be another trend they hop on to milk money from the community once more.

I would LOVE to work on halo. I would LOVE to have development experience so I could apply to work at 343i to work on a halo title. I have an idea for my own halo game I would really like to pitch because im willing to bet I could sell them on it if given the chance. All I have ever wanted was to be a developer and to make a halo game, be it working at bungie, or even 343i. It doesn't matter who its with, I just want to be part of the halo development family in any way I can. Hell if they would pay me $22/hr (basically just to match my current pay) I would do all the stunt work for them for motion capture. Throw my ass in one of them suits and I will pull 12 hour shifts, he'll I might even push for 14 hour shift 5 days a week. I would be their most dedicated employee ever and I would jump through all the hoops.
