Its so funny me and my buddy hadnt played Halo for years and all of a sudden were back on the Master Chief Collection pretty regularly. It needs a few changes but I truly think that with a couple of tweaks it would be literally perfect. If 343 aka Halo Studios wants to get back some goodwill this is where they need to start.

I've been playing the MCC for years but me, my brother, and cousin have been playing every night for the past few nights and it's been a blast. Bunch of big team battle too which has felt just like old times. Really hope this larger population sticks around!

If Microsoft/Halo Studios is concerned about lack of funding to warrant a team to work on MCC then they should port it to PS5. They're literally sitting on a gold mine here with millions of potentially new players that haven't played Halo before. And perhaps this might give some incentive for Halo Studios to fix the remaining issues with MCC, as well as adding new features.

Bro you missed the best part of the whole showcase, the Rabid Mods servers in the cgb, literally anyone can play, super scaled up btb invasion and infection with grunts, jackals, and brutes as custom classes, flood infection mode with combat form, infection form, stalker and carrier form classes, unbelievable looking maps, custom objectives and gametype scripting and so much more. Every match feels like a campaign mission. And multiple 24/7 servers every day. You even scrolled past a couple in some of the footage. Hopefully it’s in your next video. Cheers

Not to mention these mods have some of the best polish in the whole showcase. Did I mention a pvp firefight infection mode with phantoms that bring in waves of covenant, and even drones? I’m barely scratching the surface. You could do a 20 min video on it and still not cover everything. And don’t forget the maps 😍 some of these creations push reach way beyond its intended limit and rival the best of halo 5 and infinite maps.

Nonono do NOT draw attention to MCC, just let the modders cook. Do you really think that they won't just nuke it or absolutely ruin it??? Let's be real they haven't done anything good in so many years without being absolutely forced to. Besides, the people who actually make the decisions ≠ whatever devs left that actually care about halo. From a corporate mindset they are losing money from infinite every time people go to MCC. Trust me it's a terrible idea to try and get their attention on mcc. Microsoft destroys everything they touch in the gaming world.

6:00 Some of them are still active, but a lot less than there used to be. Most of them use software that is subscription based, and that software is apparently going to receive a huge update very soon so expect a flood of cheaters to appear again. Don't go thinking that their absence has anything to do with 343 because it literally doesn't. The only thing stopping them is their own boredom and bank accounts.

Also if they added mods to Xbox and cross play with ps5 the MCC would thrive like never before it would be great for it... with that should come some kinda monetization because then the game would be cared for better. I play MCC every weekend morning. As a player in Asia, it's easier to find multi-player games then. I wish I could play any week night after work, but I can't find games then. I hate Infinite. It never felt like Halo to me. Halo 5 was just ok. My all-time favorite is Halo 3, and mostly big team battle. I really hope they add more to MCC while we wait for a new Halo.

Wish 343 (or whatever they wanna be called now) would grow up, they seem to resent MCC because the backlash of "no we don't want microtransactions" or paywalled content. Thing is, MCC is a collection of the series best games (... and 4 i guess), its iconic but also to some, its a link to their teens, their past, I grew up with halo and just don't enjoy modern halo, it don't feel right, but classic is fun, even now, seeing these games jump off again would be great. Small tweaks like the suggested fix for invasion would be awesome, i meet tons who want to play invasion but unless you can get 12 people in a party, it wont happen. Sadly, 343 hate this game, it out-performs infinite quite often in players and is all around loved by its fans, whilst infinite remains mixed at best and it seems to me that 343 hate this.

Heres a fresh subject you could cover coming from a modder: Can we talk about 343 breaking mods every time they release the tiniest update? It gets tiresome having to be re upload every time, and frustrating when I miss an update and realize people couldnt play my mods for the last month or 2. Theres also a ton of awesome mods on the workshop that cant be played because they arent updated. I mean every mod is in a seperate folder of isolated map files using there own unique tags. Why cant they release an update they keeps them separated from the rest of the update? Every lost workshop mod could be restored in a single update.
