I wish they experimented more and released these, because honestly, the master chief's current story line is absolutely cooked at this point. Too much important stuff has been happening off screen and 343 hasn't been able to commit to one thing. I mean c'mon, they KILLED CORTANA OFF SCREEN like ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? Also you want to know who was looking up "halo lego game" on youtube when he was a kid and being enamored by obviously fake videos and who would've absolutely played the halo megabloks game? ME! I WOULDVE DAMMIT! I was 8 when I got halo 4, played reach when I was 6, and played halo 3, 2, and CE since I could hold a controller. I would've spent so many hours in that game, now I'm 21, jaded, working, barely playing any games and I've pretty much dropped the franchise. I used to think Microsoft was cool back then...

Take this image that you showed us and then filter it were it's got that stormy rainy matrix skybox, with tons of flood in the area. And a bunch of ODST and Spartans shooting down waves of flood with tanks, warthogs and even mongooses. Couple of things to mention about project titan/The halo MMO: Firstly Sandy Peterson is a man. More importantly, these days he's been proven to be constantly twisting stories or completely making stuff up, for example I havent been able to find ANY evidence for what Sandy spoke of regarding "microsoft's estimate for the game's income" and every time I see him talking about anything from doom's development it's contradicted by John Romero. For a more accurate depection of project titan and Ensemble studio's work on it, or accurately lack of work, check out their chapter in "Blood, Sweat & Pixels" by Jason Schreier

I have always hated 343's hyper fixation on "spartan stories" in halo. ODSTs haven't been in a halo game since Reach over 15 years ago (not counting HW2), Marines weren't even present in Halo 5 aside from warzone, and they turned almost every single cool non-spartan character into spartans. Now if we ever get an ODST sequel, it will either have you playing as Spartans, or will need to introduce whole new characters because all the original ones became spartans.
We can't even get Elites in multiplayer back. If Halo 7 is another "Spartan Story" where there are no other playable races and ODSTs are written out of the story, then I am going to be very disappointed.

seeing the space combat right after the helldivers concept really makes me want a battlefield esque game, where there's one layer of players keeping the infantry in the battle while they try to complete objectives to move the match forward

I can't decide which i'd like most between megabloks, helldivers and flood horror, it depends on the execution. The Megabloks vertical slice looks great. The space sim also would have been amazing.
I have no desire to play the overwatch or battle royal style games, but i'm not a fan of multiplayer lol Reportedly play testers hated the battle royal and said it didn't feel like Halo. Chasing trends with no creative vision never works out.
That said, I might be interested in an extraction shooter if there's a strictly PvE mode and it's not overly obnoxious with microtransactions and battlepasses (Reach's shop was far superior to MCC and Infinite, though i wish it rewarded you more for campaign/firefight).
What I always wanted the most was an RPG where you can make your own character (including skills/stats/classes/builds/similar), do quests/missions across different planets, explore, interact with characters, etc.

I will say, glad it didn't get a battle royal, I'm tired of seeing games all jump into this category just because it became popular, changing your game design for a single mode is baffling. I can't see how Halo would be like as one either, its a game your expected to die/respawn pretty quickly, its part of the game.
That said, i certainly think the flood horror one sounds fun, the hell divers one we all think was a lost opportunity for sure. The blocks one probably wouldn't be my thing so i dunno about that, maybe if i try it i might change my mind.

The fact every halo dev including bungle have always majorly ignored PVE is crazy, thd entire lore isnt spartan shoots spartan, imagine how cool a third person halo game would be where you can actually see your armour. Zombies but its the flood. You have to drop in complete obhectives get out. Space battles. Spartans going EVA. Stalking missions, the world is literally already created for the devs and they keep fumbling. Once combat evolved fails because it will. Whats next? Fans dont want their nostalgia ruined and tinkered with. They want actual need exciting content.

We can be glad they cancelled the Halo MMO. All leaked screenshots show that they just wanted to rush after the money WoW made, so bascially tried to slap Halo on a cheap clone. The UI in the leaks is 1:1 copied from WoW. Even the desert landscape looks like Durotar. Even the informations look quite bad with how the hell is this supposed to be lon before Halos were set off but the screenshots show UNSC Marines and Spartans?

yeah i swear i've been saying this for the whole time ever since 343 started to get involved with halo. i just want them to move on to a different character/squad. i think master chief is all set in stone with him and i felt like halo 4 was a nice epilogue for master chief and cortana. i wish the shareholders can see that halo is more than just the master chief and i believe that if the studio can just make these characters from the ground up, make them personalized to their own decree, then we will get a story and game that people will enjoy. i don't think that halo is just master chief and cortana anymore. it's a whole universe set up for the creators to make anything they want now.

I would love a planetside 2 style Halo game. UNSC vs Covenant with some areas having flood as PvPvE.
Id love a helldivers 2 variant, with the PvE but also with attack/defend style PvPvE missions were opposing player controlled unsc and covenant strike teams take turns attacking/defending objectives. Kinda like how L4D had versus.
Id also love a halo RTS along the lines of Company of Heroes. I really enjoyed Halo Wars and hope for HW3, but CoHs gritty, brutal tactical combat would pair great with halo.

I fully agree with you theres so much that can be done with the franchise but the leadership are not halo gamers or fans so these will likely stay dreams. As cool as the Halo mega blocks game looks, Halo should have never become a T rated game, it took the flood possibility away which was a mistake. We need more M rated games, yeah sure we need more new players, but look at how poorly the Lego Horizon game went over. Mega Blocks Halo would have crashed and burned unfortunately.

Would have loved nothing more than for 343 to have gone off in a different direction for a while after Bungies Halo 3 and Reach. Leave the Chief floating off in space a while. In the meantime, we could have been exploring new stories and worlds like the games shown here! Could have saved a lot of headaches

Megablocks, the ODST game, Floor Horror, and obviously the proper Halo Infinite would have all been great. Frankly an MMO would have diluted the universe, starfighter would be niche, the battle Royale was and is a bad idea.

I honestly believe the Halo battle royale couldn’t really go anywhere, unless you have a story like Fortnite did
