(13:00) These leaks were actually made by me. Yeah, I never actually went out of my way to reveal it because I didn't expect it to blow up the way it did. I did it as a prank because at the time people were releasing a lot of obviously fake "Tom Morello" leaks, and I thought I would have a crack at it. I accompanied it with a 4chan post on the board /v/ where I made up a bunch of BS about being an insider, and how there was gonna be a map based on the Silent Cartographer (obvious bait at this point considering I did in fact use the CEA forerunner interior as the background). I mean, I went into all this detail about "there are mongoose spawns" and stuff on the map and the gameplay is like "Halo 3" or something, whatever was getting attention in the thread.
No, the Spartan is not a stock image, those Spartans were completely posed in Source Filmmaker where I used the Master Chief (High-Poly) model by Zelorous. The Assault Rifle is straight out of Reach, no brainer there it's so obviously from Reach lol the only difference was I added some lights and colour correction (which didn't do much in the end) because of my epic camera blur. The HUD itself was traced in Photoshop using the Halo Infinite 2019 trailer as reference, and I made multiple versions (with shield, without shield, shield slightly drained etc), can't remember if they were visible in all the photos I took. I remember even making another set where the weapon was the Brute Spiker from Reach and I had made it look like a Banished variant (with red lights) but never finished it. Also the names "343Dev002" and stuff like that, so obviously fake. I took inspiration from early builds of Halo 4 where 343i would use names similar to that, I just exaggerated it a bit. Honestly, I think it would be a good change of pace for you to start covering different topics. The way you sounded in this video, with the nihilist humor and frequent use of terms "cope-ium" feels, at least to me, like you just left a toxic relationship and you're using these jokes to hide how it hurts, having such high hopes dashed by reality. I understand how much it sucks, as I, too, was super hyped, buying it day one and bragging about how good it was to my friends, but waiting for 343 to fix bugs, add missing content, and lay out a road plan, after they made big statements of how Infinite was going to be the best ever- after a few months passed, I was crushed, too. I hope that you can put out videos with a more positive undertone, with as much enthusiasm as you used to, without feeling tied to a single series as you once were. I definitely am excited for your channel's future!

This could lead more into the theory I have where the content that Halo: Infinite was originally gonna have is gonna be cut into different games/dlc. Some of these feel like they could have been true at the time they were leaked but were cut or changed. Leak 7 where he says the side missions feature other characters makes me think of the dead spartans we find along the way. Perhaps at one point we were supposed to play those missions but it morphed in to just finding them throughout the game?

Speaking of the “more master chief in campaign” leak, I gotta say…in the campaign I felt alone. Very alone. Halo 2-3, we get Miranda Keyes, Johnson, Arbiter, and the entire UNSC constantly communicating with us. For infinite, the “more master chief” kinda just made the game feel lonely without Blue Team, and the UNSC as a whole.

To be fair, I think the game story mode changed VASTLY pretty late in creation. When Staton joined the project I think he altered the game/story a lot. He was the only reason that Microsoft agreed to some of the delays. Time definitely ended up in the final game, and who knows if time travel was more of a story implication in earlier renditions of the story.

Dear God, I just thought, that would be so epic, imagine, a game mode of two teams, one with just playable elites and the other Spartans, and is like an invasion, sometimes you defend a position as Spartans others as the covenant, the spartan team has marines, the covenant team (well, in infinites case the banished) has grunts and brutes and hunters and the stuff, and really cool maps like that one in Halo 3 I don't remember the name but it was like a base in some kind of rocky dessert and there were many openings and passages to go in but also great spots for defending it, so it's more of a infiltration game mode were you can either brute force your way inside or be more creative about it, man that would be so much fun to play.

The single player early thing does maybe make sense. Considering how little of mp we saw in 2020 plus there were certain rumours that campaign was on track (graphics updates aside I assume) especially seeing as most of the campaign stuff we saw didn’t change much outside of visual fidelity. Granted they probably woulda cut more. As for alpha halo it could maybe refer to the early concept of SPOILER……
