I fully agree that its nothing but annoying with the lack of content but I'd rather them take there time and release stuff to a good standard, I believe when season 3 comes back the game will have a second breath of fresh air a pull people back like Fortnight did when they drop battle royal or No Mans Sky but I do agree they should of released the game until it was finished

Funny you bring up how many people on Twitch are watching Halo Infinite. I pulled it up (And yes it's 1:30 AM central on a Wednesday as I post this comment) and there are only 868 people watching it. I stg this game only died because there are no new content update. Everyone loved this game at launch but there is not real incentive to keep playing because the lack of content. You also level up extremely slow making it hard to max out your battle pass. Halo Infinite isnt bad it just needs more things to do.

I dont always agree with you rich. but I agree here, except even single player is still missing the usual features. its not that it isn't fun, it just feels lacking. mp is also fun, but it felt lacking as well. as much as I love halo, this is the first time I've beat the single player once and haven't touch it since. and I brought the game, I didnt gamepass it. stuff like this is why I feel like gamepass hurts, ms first parties. its not that gamepass is trash, but I feel like its emphasis is why they aren't, pressing these teams to release games complete.

In the video you say people are upset with the multiplayer after paying $60 for it. That's the campaign, multiplayer is free.
There was team slayer on launch, it just wasn't in it's own playlist.
The gameplay is fine, it's missing a lot of features like co-op and forge, but the core match to match gameplay is solid for what it is.
They don't need more time to make a better playlist, the game modes are there, they just aren't doing for whatever reason.
Corrections finished, I'm very upset with Halo, they're so poor with their monetization and have such a crappy progression system.
Bad design choices aside, I will say in their defense, that perfection is the enemy of done. If you wait too long to release you end up with Star Citizen, they already delayed Halo once, and I'm not qualified to say if they should have done it again.
Another thing to consider is all the other moving peices like the Halo tv show, novels, comics, etc etc. There are a lot of other deadlines and things going on behind the scenes that can effect when a game releases, not just greed for making money for the holidays.
Though I'm not saying that is a good reason to get the product we got- one I'm personally dissatisfied with- but it's something to think about when considering why things happen the way they do.

In a way I'm thankful I can only game 1 day a week. Halo is still a lot of fun for me. But I will agree, they haven't even released a new map yet. I can see why people are losing interest. I still say they bring back firefight as an option. I dont care what anybody says, that game mode was amazing!

Having zero challenges for unlocks, and zero progression other than the battlepass gives me zero reason to play.
I enjoyed the gameplay for what it was, but it bored me quickly.
I may give it another go in the future, but the future in which this happens is not near.

Halo infinite Is getting kicked in the teeth when it comes to multiplayer retention they started out great but caught a cramp and they haven’t worked that cramp out so they can do the next race. The problem was simple but very difficult to fix. The structure the very nature of their battle pass needed to change it was too slow to progress. They have built everything around you the player taking an entire season or you know an extreme amount of time to rank up in this battle pass hopefully you would come back and continue to play but people looked at them and said this battle pass progression is too slow. So progression was sped up Great initially but that means everyone finishes the battle pass really fast so what are they coming back to play for if they can’t earn new content that’s the draw for many people I want to earn something I want to feel like I’m being rewarded for my play. So that presented him with a really big problem now simple but it’s big when your next battle pass launches it needs to be fast and progressive it needs to last an entire season and it needs to be full of content. Do you see the problem now you have to create a bunch of new content lots of new content and you need to do it fast because people don’t want to wait for this new battle pass and the problem is they have to wait. They’re already trying to add co-op to the single player campaign they are already trying to add forge to multiplayer that’s valuable resources dedicated to other projects now they need to change their fundamental structure they thought would be in place for the battle pass. It’s a simple problem but it’s going to take a lot of effort to fix and that’s the problem.
They also can’t just let this die because this is a top franchise for Microsoft. You can’t say well we’ll get it right next time no you have to get it right this time even if nobody plays it. You have to put forth an effort so that next time when you get the chance to do it again people will be there and play it but this time they probably won’t come back. In fact the only way to truly bring them back you better have a halo 1.5 single player campaign for them. Just thinking about halo infinite frustrates me. It was such a good game and it was so much fun on launch. I was so excited to play a new halo game. Then they didn't update it and they removed maps and modes from ranked. The game feels like a janky mess and I don't know why 343 is fumbling this game this badly they just needed to support the game. The game is 3 months old and we have less content than we did when it first came out.
I grew up on Halo and I've liked all of them even the ones most people hated. They were all good in their own way. Halo Infinite has potential but there's no content to it.

There's been a template for 15 years at this point that call of duty perfected with regards to xp and leveling up that all they had to do was follow. What they decided to have on MP killed it dead for me, gave me hardly any reason to go back on and play it.
Don't get me wrong I played it loads for the first month or so but then without new maps etc the only thing that would keep me would be the feeling of progression regarding the leveling system.

This is the second halo game I've tried. I was overwhelmed and disappoint with the first, being Halo 5. Once again, there was so much potential, but they squandered it into a neural overload. I then finally went back to try some older halo games via MCC. Halo 3 and Reach gave me the most satisfaction as I didn't feel that I was dying to [x[ ability or someone dashing at mach 6. It was more that "I missed my shots" or "I strafed this angle badly". While Infinite's pvp definitely was fun when it worked, lag, weapon balance, a lack of modes, a lack of vehicles, and an assortment of other issues just killed the joy for me.

Is this why the price went down to $43 for the new copy? I mean, I am not complaining about not having to pay the full $60 now, but I also understand the multiplayer should be worth 50% of the $60. Maybe they should sell the disk copy as $30 with only the campaign and have to pay $30 for a multiplayer pass, just to make it feel worthwhile and would allow people to choose if they only want one or the other. This would also allow them to only put the campaign on the disk and have the multiplayer be a full digital download. Heck, why not just make the multiplayer its own stand alone thing? Then people would know to what to expect when they give a road map showing what parts of the multiplayer they are going to add in and when.

Honestly wouldn’t be too bad of a game if the game launched with incredible custom game settings that actually worked, so incase we didn’t wanna play matchmaking, we can actually have fun with our own modes. But literally you can’t even save any gametypes, and majority of them don’t work. I think that’s the issue why it’s bleeding players a lot.

good glad to hear it's dying was looking forward to the game for years finally it came out and it was an absolute disappointment the campaign and multiplayer both were absolute trash 343 ruined halo and it sucks i truly wish bungi would could back and make the halo games again.
