Hey, DefendTheHouse, I strongly feel that the Halo Infinite frag grenades have some homing capabilities, where their trajectory slightly bends towards enemy players. Could you please test this for me, I feel like I'm being gaslighted by the game sometimes.
I swear I've seen a few of my grenades curve just slightly around corners to reach an enemy on the other side, and I've seen way too many enemy grenades bounce off multiple surfaces before landing right at my face, no matter how much I try to conceal myself.
I'd really appreciate it if you test this out!

I feel like it could be to do with how the maps are designed and how bouncy the frags are in this game. But I know what you mean and it's worth looking at for sure!

Myth: A gravity hammer shockwave can deflect a Threat Sensor
Myth: You can grapple a thrown enemy Drop Wall
Myth: You can snipe a tank shell mid-flight
Myth: A Dynamo Grenade can instantly destroy a Drop Wall (that might already be a thing, I just haven’t seen it done before)
Myth: You can get the “Splatter” medal by flipping an overturned tank on an enemy
Myth: You can launch grenades further by repulsing them instead of throwing them
Non-myth: Try doing the trick where everyone on the map grapples each other, but instead of going around in a circle try going straight up in the air
Lesser known myth that I know works: You can “double jump” by looking down at the ground after you jump and repulsing yourself - CONFIRMED

The reason why Joe doesn't see the grenade on his gun even though it's stuck through a wall is because on the player view the gun isn't the one in the game world.
It is a trick Developers use to avoid having the gun clip into objects on the screen. This saves time in development rather than handling the interactions for when the player is too close to a wall. Games like PUBG use a different method where the gun exists as a colliding object within the world, so when a player gets to close to a wall the gun is raised/put in a non-combative stance.
Some games do a hybridization of these methods where the animate the player model to manipulate the gun in a realistic fashion, while the player's view is drawn with the gun in a standard position. Iirc Rainbow 6 Siege does this.
TL,DR: the gun on screen doesn't exactly exist when close to a wall to make game development simpler.

The reason the Plasma grenade does damage through the wall is because the weapon is a part of the player's hitbox and they take damage even from shooting their gun. You can prove this by sticking the sniper through the wall and then shooting it

We need to make a game type that uses repulsors and plasma grenades, basically plasma volleyball. You can have the game set up to where you die at the slightest amount of damage, meaning that the points of the game would go up as you missed the grenade and let it land on your side

For the Rocket-Repulsor-Endurance challenge, with the large group of you, you should totally be able to shorten the distance by only having one (pre-planned) person repulse each side. Kinda overlapping the cool-downs, if that makes sense?

You can also set it up so there's different equipment sitting in front of you to pickup (so die w/like a sensor, then stand on top of it). If you pick it up, then pick the repulsor back up again, it resets the cool down. I use this trick to rapidly spam multiple sensors in fiesta in the span of a few seconds.

I’ve got three myths on the repulsor/return to sender medal (Yes this is practically a copy and paste on my comment from number 7):
If person A shoots a rocket a B, who returns it, will A get a return to sender if they also repulse it?
If player A shoots a rocket at B, who repulses to player C, who will get a return to sender if C repulses to A?
If someone does a repulsor jump at the same time that multiple people repulse them up (ideally for testing the multiple would be one on team so they don’t repulse each other) would all of the repulsors send him into the stratosphere, give him a slight boost as if it were one, or have no effect at all?

the plasma grenade dosen't stick because a melee dosen't mean the grenade it touched the hit box or your are... a melee is like a projectile, not in terms of range, but it is a single point of contact. Like the point of a pin... that's why hitting the grappling hook with an energy sword was so hard... the hit boxes of a melee is like placing the point of a pin.
