@James Mckinney yeah i get you man, its baffling i think the reason why was bc of management pushing for dumb ideas like a hero shooter and other crap, then that was all scrapped and they started making the infinite we have today, so they had six years but a lot of what it went towards crap ideas. No excuse they had more than any other halo game had by far

Until 343 balls up the battle pass and all forms of monetization, like a piece of paper, throws them in a trashcan, and burns them with gasoline, this game will never return to the quality of the old games. It will forever feel like fortnite and a cheap/predatory approach to taking our money.

This is a cute video and I get the whole "lets be positive" vibe and stuff, but quite literally jack all has happened to change anything, and the community certainly hasn't sent any sort of message to anyone lol, 343 has been and will continue doing the same thing with halo since they took it over, Infinite is dead in the water because they haven't been able to fix glaring problems it has had since launch, and any of the missing stuff that they HAVE added is too little too late. I dunno how much copium you have to be huffing to get to the "we did it guys, we made the difference and things really really aaaare changing this time for suuuure" place AGAIN. That's been the mantra of the battered wife that is the halo community for over a decade now.

Halo is shit now. That's my opinion and my take on halo from 4 till infinite. Wars 2 was aight but nothing good. Goodbye halo. Goodbye mint. Good riddance 343. Sad that I cared more about a content creator (mint blitz) more than I did the game. Sad that my nephew isn't going to play halo any more because the game was ruined and I won't show him a shitshow like the TV series. I'm done. Goodbye childhood, hello anything else.

I just can’t believe the state that 343 let this game get into. Not only are we still waiting for a launch product but when are we getting new/old guns and vehicles? When’s the campaign getting additional content? Firefight and splitscreen. I understand having one area of core focus, and it seems that focus was to literally screw up ever area of the game.

Halo is my favorite video game franchise and I was very worried that this series that has given me so many memories was going to end. This was a huge reliever. I have always been telling other fans that have been upset with the series that “halo never dies. It’s just missing in action” but with the recent events I began to doubt it. But this news just confirms it. Halo may have been missing in action for a bit, but it’s far from dead.

Halo is as integral to Xbox/Microsoft as Super Mario is to Nintendo. Each new generation of Xbox console has launched alongside a new Halo title and I highly doubt that Microsoft would ever abandon the franchise.

I'm willing to give Pierre a chance (for a little while) there needs to be MAJOR improvements. If we didn't have this recent management change, if bonnie was still in charge in the current situation, I'd be full doomer status, but I'm willing to cut pierre some (a small amount) slack. Even though I appreciate the positive outlook, I'm mostly a single player person and just want campaign dlc for infinite and the past several months at 343 have shown it won't happen. The need to do something about single player content as I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels that way. I'm gonna be looking forward to other games like the next zelda and star wars game till 343 gets their shit together. Halo will always be number 1 franchise to me. It just really pains me when 343 has practically ruined or mangled of what makes halo great.

Ive said for years it really comes down to good leadership and its good to see 343 finally getting that done. I love Halo. New IPs gets popular when everything is done right (Genshin Impact/devs spent an estimated $500m+ in two years to support the game) and even established and popular IPs can fail when launched poorly and not properly supported (Halo Infinite, Marvel's Avengers).
