I noticed in the Season Pass there's an emblem called Beta Company, and I really REALLY hope it's a reference to the original 3 Companies of Spartan IIIs deployed during the Human-Covenant War, I really hope they at least make some mention of Alpha, Beta and Gamma now that they've introduced Mirage IIC as an armour core (for those who are new or unaware, Mirage is basically the Mjolnir version of the Semi-Powered Infiltration (SPI) armour worn by most Spartan IIIs during the war)

Little bit gutted with this update, they removed the pit (empyrean) out of quickplay. I only play 9pm-3am in Australia and quickplay is the only populated playlist at that time. I literally came back to infinite when they brought the pit out and I’ve played quickplay for the pit for the last 2months. Now I am going to play quickplay without the pit and a bunch of shit maps that don’t have double snipes and rotate skewers…the pit brought me back but quickplay is my only option late nights and now pits gone :/ da faq 343? Bad decision! Fan fav map, removed out of quickplay…

Disappointed with this season tbh. The battle pass looks cool and has a bunch of cool stuff in it. The new btb map is amazing, but the 2 arena maps are possibly the worst maps in the game, and that's saying something. One is way too small, the other is way too big. Escalation slayer is just god awful. And the dmr is cool but it's too weak. There's just no reason to use it over a pistol or the br.

Has anyone at 343 addressed the frame rate issues on Xbox series x? It won’t hit 120 fps anymore and the gameplay feels super choppy and laggy. Even in the menus it’s choppy.

My favorite thing about this season is that we get 2 free Armor Cores. We don't need to unlock them anymore. The maps are fun and amazing. I'm already half way through the event pass. 343 is killing it this season. So I have high hopes for Season 4

No, the bandit is very long range, it just has some spread and a lot of recoil. It isn't as good as you may want, due to its features but it fits in the sandbox nicely I think.

Oasis really isn't much different from the other maps, the center oasis is good put the rest is tight.
Chasm is fun, Oasis is fun but is begging for a 6v6 playlist.
Don't care about cosmetics, so honestly it's not much content added.

New content is great. So far I’m liking the season. My one gripe is that I’m not a fan of the Bandit. Out of all the cool Halo weapons they could have brought back, a worse version of the DMR is disappointing.

Welp, here is how season 3 is currently is. It sucks. There one new weapon, one new ability(not added in campaign). A butt load of shop items and many more to come. No new PVE gamemode. One new PVP gamemode. One new original arena and big team battle map. No crosscore armor pieces or camos(343 said that all season 3 and future camos were to be cross core, this was a lie). Overall, nothing much has change, huge nerfs came with the update to some weapons, no buffs. 2 new maps total(were not counting forge maps since they been in game since forge released). This update is really good if you’re into spending money in the shop, otherwise it’s not worth coming back to it. See you guys in 3 more months for the next update to be worth(let’s be honest it’s going to be another 6 months for the next update and that too will be mediocre).

Just uninstalled Infinite indefinitely. Constant crashing, issues with aim assist, still very strict sbmm matchmaking in combination with a very overhyped update in my eyes. The new contant itself looks and hopefully plays very good but the game in general is not in a enjoyable state. I really want the game to succeed but I feel like 343 dropped the ball once again. All my hype for this new season and "fresh start" killed within the first day...

Still a shame that customization is locked behind a paywall for the most part. I get it, MP is free campaign is paid but it still feels like shit. I miss being able to earn cosmetics as rewards for leveling up or completing challenges. Not just paying for a battlepass or buying them in the shop. More so since the battlepass system puts them in a FOMO situation where you have to earn it while the battle pass is around and once it's gone your SOL till they decide to bring it back.

I was looking forward to this game but once I realized they were doing what they were to the customization- probably one of my favorite parts about halo multiplayer, I just didn't bother. It's been a year and some change and I haven't bothered to even play MP. No point. Battlepass progression doesn't feel like actual progression and buying cosmetics takes the cool-factor away from them. Cool shit looks nice and all but if I just forked out 10+ dollars for it for no other reason than "to look cool" it just feels like shit.
