I don't plan on touching Infinite again until they add Input based matchmaking and that's just one of many complaints I have for the game. I think the reason you're not seeing comments like these anymore is because were sick and tired of 343 shenanigan's and have just moved on.

My personal predictions for the game was infinite was going to suck for the first year or 2, I think its about that time where halo is in the place it should have been on launch, and people should reconsider giving it another whirl, especially pc MnK players, you can definitely compete with controller players now and it feels balanced (shooting wise).
I do hope they add in more forge related maps (new and old) some of the forgers out there are doing gods work right now making this game greater and greater by the day, my hat goes off to them, they deserve something special like recon was in OGH3.

Infinite is still ass. Servers crash, too many shots don’t reg, lag is real, and the lobbies are flooded with MnK.

I thought I’d come back with season 4 to see what it was like, and it felt so much better than it did when I stopped playing a year or so ago. Then they added 8v8 and now my opinion on the game has gotten much better. Went from imo a 5/10 to a solid 9/10 or even 10/10. It feels very complete and a whole lot of fun. For the first time since launch I actually feel excited and hopeful for the future of this game.

Very happy with the changes 343 has made- enjoying infection and squad battles the most. Hope they keep it up and hope that whatever big projects they are working on in the future can be launched in such a way that it brings people back to give the game another try. I think that if the game had been this good at launch there would be a lot more people playing it now.

They really need to add cross core and dial back on the monetization (they're started too) because the amount you pay for skins is crazy. Also just keep adding gamemodes forge maps to the game. Ive seen some of the recreations on customs browsers and they look great, now imagine that in the actual game. Having more maps and especially those that arent the copy paste bland unsc esc maps are great

The launch day of squad battle I was completely elated. I hadn’t laughed that much playing Halo in a while. I do have lag issues from time to time but not enough to keep me away. Back in the day playing H4 with my brother, we were down to play for hours even on our crappy internet which booted us off every 1/10 matches. I’ll be even happier if they phase out Salvation soon lol

The ranked playlist needs a fix fast I feel like the servers are noticeably worse on ranked for some reason any other playlist plays perfectly fine but ranked consistently has lag outs or crashes and a lot of more net code problems for me also the other thing is queing by yourself is a mission on its own so idk

The only issue I have that I don’t see shared with others is the lack of being able to turn off aim slowdown on pc, not console, pc. Sure I’d be “at a disadvantage” compared to console players or whatever but I like getting used to a game by myself, having my misses and hits be my own. I just always fight the slowdown, and it’s not really stopping.

All I hear are lies. When I jump back on Halo 5, the gameplay is still smooth and fun to play. When I play Halo Infinite, my shots aren’t registering, I'm still getting shot around corners, I still can't turn off PC players across the entire game, I keep running into cheaters, I still can't play Rank Normal Team Slayer that has been in every Halo game before, and the biggest problem is all the inconsistency throughout the entire game.

There's a ton more that would need to happen to Halo Infinite for me to be positive on it, which isn't likely to happen. Lack of negativity could also have something to do with people giving up on the game. I haven't cared about any of 343's Halo games, and Infinite's microtransaction heavy "free to play" multiplayer and half-baked campaign aren't enough to win me over. Traversal with the tank gun in the overworld is fun, I'll concede that point, but beyond that I just don't care about it.

Definitely a lot better than launch. I’ve stuck with it since the beginning and before it felt like the only modes I enjoyed were quick play and BTB. Now there’s lot more to choose from. So now I think they just need to finish fire fight and forgeable AI then focus on new maps with a new weapon and equipment every season and just keep that momentum going.

I just want pre game lobbies. I miss those so much. The game does feel great but going forward after Infinite i hope there will be no live service and everything be in the game to earn instead of paying 10 dollars for a battle pass. Forge needs a terrain editor instead of placing terrain everywhere(of which i know they wanted to add that to the game on their wish list). I want some flood added into pve as well and maybe see some old-new weapons added, maybe some more covenant/banished themed spartan armor or outright add playable elites.

If they add pre and post game lobbies, split screens so you can play halo with friends in campaign and multiplayer, scrap the armor core idea and combine every armor together so I can finally make a samurai version of Emile’s armor, improve the competitive rank system, fix the hit registrations and performance issues, especially crashes, improve forge and insist the community to create fun maps (like an award or even payment to top forge maps), maybe the community can create skins or mods on the steam workshop or forge, a free or cheap DLC for the campaign and a little marketing and spreading awareness, the game will be back from the dead, every og old school fan will be back on Halo Infinite.

Been playing Infinite since launch. In the beginning, Infinite has had a tough time because as your content has shown, the lack of content, consistency and failing to give the community highly requested feature on time has made the game suffer. It forced me to go back to MCC to kill time while Infinite is still in its Beta (after launch, people can agree it was still in its Beta.) Ive always believe that the leadership was the problem and after the compete nuking of the leadership happened and the CEO was changed to the MCC director. I knew things were going to get better.

Hey remi love the vid, but I do want to bring up a GAME BREAKING bug that multiple of my friends have. In custom games and forge there is a lightning bug that completely destroys the maps, people are in a fog so thick they can't see or everything is too dark or too bright. Would love to hear something about this and or a fix in the midseason update!

Yeah I've been grinding at infinite again and it's been nice. The playlist varianty is a huge one thats been keeping it fresh and fixes to aim. My only big gameplay issue remaining is not have physical contact with other players in game, makes melees a big pain and it just serves no practical purpose other then it annoying me.
