As much as we like reach, how about make some developer made remakes of iconic maps that were more popular than reach like bloodgulch/coagulation, lockout, midship, Valhalla, to name a few. Those iconic maps that stand out and are idiot proof gameplay wise compared to reach maps.

This game is not what we were promised, nor what we hoped, but it’s still the game halo needs to keep itself alive right now. 343 is finally listening, and the game is actually fun. 343 is wanting to mimic reach but not wanting to implement an in game currency you earn through good performance in game like the credits in reach 🤔🧐 This game fell off hard for me after season 1, objectively I'm happy that the first season was ironically based around Halo reach and we were able to get the flaming effect. I've been hoping for a credit economy system that rewards credits based on performance. Even including challenges that give season xp and credits. I wholeheartedly feel like 343 flopped this great title in favor of microtransactions and game design based around those microtransactions.

It’s extremely loosely inspired, and pretty mid tbh. You can’t even turn the camera on your dead body. The pov in spectate is too low. The forged water doesn’t make water sounds. Grenades don’t effect the water, bullets barely effect it. Vehicles and Spartans do nothing to the water. Very mid update. 4/10 overhyped

If theres only 4 respawn points that dominate on a whole map then thats a Forge issue.

Hey Mint can you address the sweaty ass SBMM lately? I feel like some of the regular playlists are more sweaty than ranked (I'm D1) and you need to go for the carry every single game because team mates are worthless. There are basically next to no social playlists at this point.
You can't perform well unless you absolutely give it your 100% and a lot of players have been complaining that it feels too frustrating and draining.
Sometimes I want to play a couple games after a long day at work and check out the featured playlist showing off the new map - and not sweat my ass off.

Ive used the repulsor more on this map than any other it reminds me of using the gravity lift on high ground in halo 3 to boost up into the base and surprise noobs who camp the spartan laser tower

Dredge is an excellent example of how to do a remake correctly. Its the opposite of Empyrean, in that it honors Bungie's ethos with Halo Reach, but tailors the gameplay to Halo Infinites mechanics without ruining the classic map design!

I like how this new countdown is bigger and different than the Reach version, which adds a different gameplay to infinite that many maps don't offer. I think of Dredge to play similar to 343s Catalyst, also a great halo map. They offer many positions and each level has different layout and twists to it

I know I gave halo infinite a ton of hate and quit it practically a month after launch but I've always said that this halo has the potential to be the best halo multiplayer experience of all time if it was given the right attention, maybe in another year or two If these updates keep rolling out well enough I can consider halo infinite as a top 2 at least halo multiplayer (gameplay wise). Not enough people give halo 5 it's credit too the multiplayer was crisp and felt super good like an actual spartan

There’s only 4-6 spawns, you’d be silly to not vaguely know them if the enemy does.
