I recently started playing Halo Infinite again, and I absolutely love it... but the networking issues are the only thing that makes the game unfun. Playing on 400 ping every match shouldn't be happening (I play other games, and I have no networking issues at all with them)

Interesting we seen from tracking the whole base that mid 20k is the average daily peak players. 567k players have played in the last month(most of season 4). And almost a full doubling the active peak players. It’s interesting but it seems that none steam players are the one coming back first.

halo infinite is about the customizations and not the player experience, halo has no chance. there is so many modes that would benefit with infinites play style that its crazy we still have virtually nothing. i feel like im the only one who thinks a halo reach style invasion game mode upgraded with actual banished AI and with a whole campaign map with a starting area thats perfect for such a mode that its a no brainer to make but 343 is sleeping behind the wheel again

I loved how simple and excellent the gameplay was. The fumbled attempt at an in-game store and the unsatisfying battlepass and cosmetics killed the chance of this game being successful.

Been playing Halo Infinite since launch. It has been a LONG journey, but the game seems to be making a great comeback in the greater gaming community, I love to see it. Now we just need a few more additions (Firefight or some other PVE mode mostly), and the game will be pretty much perfect. Love to see more people enjoying Infinite!

Don’t think too much on it being free to play, halo series always been strong on story which most actual fans would pay for and online has most decent colours and armor locked behind microtransactions. It’s fine to look on the bright side but let’s not forget the deserved hate it received for breaking fundamental elements of the series and turning away so many fans initially

Apparently the hiring freeze at 343 is over and it looks like Halo will get a proper dev team instead of having to hire devs for a couple of months then cycle them out for another batch of devs who had to pick up from where the last batch left off which most likely created inconsistencies in development for the game

Been playing consistently since launch, it definitely had some rough patches there for a while and a few questionable calls, but the past couple seasons have had a lot of really positive steps made, much more consistent content additions, and very appreciated QoL updates. It's been the game I play the most often for a while now and I hope people who fell off around launch are down to give it another shot.
