This really hits me right in the heart i love halo when i was little i watched my dad and my eldest brother play halo and i didnt get to play til the last few years of 3 and ive played every halo and i love the series and when i saw halo infinite i was excited but then let down but i kept playing it and im happy to see its improved by leaps and bounds and it really just makes me wanna cry and all i have to say is i love halo and i hope it keeps improving. I know this is speculation but most of Infinite's problems are the root of game engine issues or limitations. It was probably either poorly optimized and not tested or worse, it was intentional to begin with just so they can slowly improve the game over time. Its weird how Infinite started to improve drastically when a change of leadership came. My guess is that Bonnie Ross and the other heads of 343 knew about this and just wanted Infinite to be on a crutch. I am so glad infinite is in better hands now, cheers to a good future!

Whats also helped is the events. This is one of the first few times they've added in new maps with each new event whether it was Solitude, 5 squad Battle Maps, and recently Dread. It keeps you coming back every other week unlike before. Next week i think we have the return of the Hazmat event and we still have the final Tenrai event near the end of September. Unlike season 3, we'll only have like 2 or 3 weeks of end of season slowdown and by then i hope they start hyping up season 5 content.
Im honestly shocked and happy this game is finally making a comeback. Its still has a long way to go but i think the new management is trying to address those issues as fast as possible.
I think if they try to implement some kind of Cross core content in season 5 or 6 this game will really start to reach its potential.

I love Halo Infinite, but the battle pass is the main reason I don't bother playing. I enjoy doing challenges for my unlocks, and I feel like even in the current state, the daily/weekly challenges are a joke. The only daily challenge is to play 1 game? Like what is the reason to even log on at that point. You can knock the weeklies out in like 1-2 hours and then boom, you're done playing until next week. The worst part is the challenges are nothing fancy, its just complete/win games, or get this many points, or get kills with this category of guns...

They need to add a feature to queue several custom games one after the other. It’s so annoying when you get a good amount of people in the lobby, then after one game you have to mess around choosing the map and game mode separately (after scrolling through them all). By the time you’ve picked the second map half the lobby has left because they’re impatient
