Are you and Caitlin long distance? I always just assumed you had met in person, and just both happen to play and love Halo. But when you said about her flying down and spending your first Christmas together, that surprised me for some reason. Hope you had a great Christmas with friends and family, and I look forward to more great Halo content, be it trickshots, multikills, or news updates. I really appreciate you always covering news with Halo, because as you said, it is often Twitter ("X") comments, on Reddit, etc, and a lot of us don't actually know what's happening with the games, especially when I take breaks from Infinite, and sometimes play other stuff, or take a break from games, I don't typically keep up with what is or has been happening, so I can always rely on your videos to keep me updated, even if I don't get around to watching them for a bit. I can still see what content, patch notes, have been released, and what upcoming updates they are working on, even if it's say, a month later.

The graphics on the 120 fps mode are just set too high. I can get over 160 fps on my laptop but my Xbox SX drops from 120 quite a lot. It has a much cleaner and sharper image though. They should at least let you put the graphics to the lowest to get as much performance as possible, this is a competitive game after all.

You need a 120hz capable TV or monitor and have 120hz selected in your Xbox settings, it won't let you select it if you don't for some reason.

The Halo Infinite campaign really needs to finish the fight in 2024. As is the open world is just missed opportunities (where are my biomes) and the story felt more like a prologue (or like chapter 1 because it felt like it skipped the prologue) of a really good novel I'm still waiting to come out.

I found my settings reset on PC all the time. The issue is related to the fact that the file related to storing the settings is linked to the account that I first signed into, not my main. If I sign out, and sign into the account I first signed into, changed the settings, sign out and resign into my main, the settings remained the same

Not sure if its the same with Xbox

I’m honestly not opposed to the idea of a new halo campaign, whether it’s a Halo Infinite DLC, something to follow up with halo wars 2 and the Spirit of Fire/Red Team, or maybe even an ODST 2, that way we don’t need a full multiplayer experience for those games and 343 can still consistently allocate resources to Infinites’ multiplayer

The only thing that would signal wether or not halo is healing, is if they put big booty spartans. Nothing else could possibly signal this. We all know exactly the type of people in video game conpanies that hate fun. Big booties, means they are no longer around to block the concept of fun in games.

I love Halo Infinite but I am happy to see someone calling out Series X performance. Every update causes 120fps mode to be a disaster on certain maps. I’d love a performance mode because maps like salvation are unplayable on series x

I usually always have a a solid 120 fps on Xbox. It dips when I turn on ray traced shadows, so try turning that off and sit may help! It doesn’t really make the game look that much better anyways.

Yesterday I played a slayer match where I went 35 and 8 and we still lost. I pray to God that sbmm and the multiplayer algorithm change in 2024. It might be best for player retention within a single playing session, but I cannot fathom how it's good for player retention over a longer period of time. Every time I stop playing halo infinite, it's because I've been frustrated at getting unwinnable matches. Let's hope they change it

I'd love to see an RTS/FPS title with a rebranded 343 and the other studios under the Microsoft umbrella. Where there's roles like in Battlefront, the RTS resource and campaign management, and then you spawn in as an Elite, or a basic Marine, or Wraith etc with objective modes and slayer variants

As long as they can get the desync problem sorted out, I'll be happy. It's not as bad as when the game first launched, but I still frequently have nights where I try to play and there's desync. Usually it'll just be small stutters throughout the match, and while it's annoying, I can usually play around it. But other times it's so bad that the game is literally unplayable because of all the rubberbanding.

Halo Infinite maps are not optimized well on PC, I noticed map to map a sometimes 100fps difference.

Also over time menue fps drops game after game. Starts for me around 300fps, and around 5 games later its down to 180 fps.

I have a RTX 3070, and a i5 12600k. So it isnt my build.

I completely disagree on the “campaign only” Halo release. Let’s think about it: what we didn’t like about 343’s Halo games is that no game is complete, no game has all the content we were expecting at launch based on Bungie’s games. Art style aside, no Halo game made by 343 launched with all the features we wanted (full standalone campaign, complete multiplayer experience, theatre mode, firefight, forge). Each one had something missing. So now that 343 supposedly learning from their mistakes, making a new Halo game with the same issues would be a suicide. I’m sure we all agree that we love Halo also because it’s a complete experience with no compromises. Making just a Halo campaign game would be so bad for the community on the long run.

4:completly remove the weekly challanges and make it so depending how good you did that round thats how much xp and battlepass points u get (like bf 2042)

I've been playing infinite almost exclusively since it's launch. Me and my brothers have stuck it out for so long, with firefight being the light in the horizon for us. Now that it's finally released... I've kind of lost my excitement for the game. I feel like it may have peaked. We just started playing chivalry 2 recently. It's sure a refreshing change from the halo sweat fest

I’m hoping for warzone since we have ai now and a lot more weapons being added to the game because in husky raid it seems like there are so many hammers and swords. Some of the weapons I’d like to see should be the carbine , fuel rod, beam rifle from halo 2, and a good shotgun.
