Can they realistically fix the underpinning netcode issues that have plagued the game since launch?
If yes, then keep it! If not, then it could make sense to take the lessons learned and apply them to a new multiplayer experience built to handle it from the ground up.

Havent played a halo since 4. IM just not interested in 343 as a company. I still think they are shit. I keep up to date on the new stuff happening. Im not impressed. Stop dropping games that suck major donkey dick. It wont fix what they have done, but if they can just make a game that is good from day 1. I will be happy with that game.

So the game is finally where it should've been at launch, and they think it's content complete now. And we'll be getting 10 total seasons with no word on anything campaign related, so myself and everyone else who bought it really paid full price for like 1/15 of a game. That's just wrong man.

With 343 and infinite finally in a place that is great I see the games lifespan greatly increased.
I hope multiplayer narratives and cutscenes return as they were awesome and seeing our Spartans in cutscenes was amazing, pre and post game lobbies, an actual service record, classic weapons and vehicles returning, etc.
With halo infinite on the upswing I hope these all come to fruition before the next game is made

I never liked battle royale games. Getting booted back to the menu after you die is one of the worst concepts imo and idk how it ever took off in the first place. Not to mention there is a plethora of battle royale games that have all used the same formula, a halo battle royale would just be the same but halo themed.
Halo was a pioneer of the first person shooter genre and so I think the devs time would be best spent on finding new ways to build on that rather than following a well worn trend

I’m personally of the opinion that Halo needs to stop thinking that the six year gap between 5 and Infinite was remotely okay for the franchise.
If Infinite had launched perfectly, feature complete, 20hr+ campaign (from missions, not open world objectives), forge, splitscreen, etc. etc. Then yeah, sure, I guess the 6 years was worth it. But no. It wasn’t even close to that.
Microsoft needs to get off their ass, same as 343, and stop treating Halo like some kind of once-per-console release. We need the releases to start picking up a bit - whether that involves different genres, campaign DLC (which yes I do know has been confirmed to not happen - and that’s stupid as shit), maybe even letting more studios work on the IP - I don’t care how it happens.
But this series needs to make a choice on whether it’s going live service style like Destiny, Fortnite or other similar titles - with constant releases of mp AND CAMPAIGN content - or if it’s going to have more sparse, but REFINED and COMPLETE offerings. Keep in mind that the servers will be up for a long time after Infinite is no longer the main focus of 343I. Just like past Halo games, it will most certainly be completely playable online years after it is “done”.

Call of Duty's menu is awful because they used a UI/UX designer who made Hulu, a streaming app that was used for television networks in the US. look up images of what that looks like and you'll see why the guy phoned it home for CoD.

Hope infinite gets the Halo 3 armor core, the Halo wars armor, and Halo 4 armor cores as the next cores coming in the upcoming seasons. Also I wouldn't mind Halo infinite being the dedicated multiplayer halo game for the time being, as long as desync and all networking issues are 100% or 90% fixed.
I also hope that they add classic Halo weapons, like the SMG, Shotgun, plasma rifle, covenant carbine etc. And I also hope that for the end of life update or before then preferrably they open up previous events, and make all store content available for purchase for a reduced price.

i think its fine, design wise. i dont think it needs a complete rework. there are things I'd change about it, but if it stayed how it is i wouldn't be too bothered.
what they need to fix about the menu is making it actually fucking work. every time i load in i have to wait several minutes just to load the shop, load the customisation menu, and thats before i even select what customisation i want to go into. i have to wait for it all to load in before selecting an option, otherwise it just doesnt load. most things about the menu screens take so long to load when it should be almost instantaneous. i shouldnt have to sit on my phone when i load the game cos my battle pass or challenges wont show up. i shouldnt have to go back on the menu to reload certain parts just to change my fucking shoulder pad.

I feel like it would be cool if what CA is doing could be a sort of port of Halo Infinite to Unreal Engine kinda like CSGO to CS2. Would just be nice if I can keep all my cosmetics in the next one. I really like the gameplay in Infinite and its a really good balance between modern and classic.

It is a slide jump motion, he sprints for a short amount of time, then uses the slide mechanic to gain quick speed. If you time it right, you can go further.

The Halo community is the biggest thing holding Halo back. The celebration of Infinite’s BR cancellation is the dumbest thing I’ve ever seen. A battle royale, like it or not, is the IP’s best chance of breaking back into the upper echelon of mainstream gaming, and, as long as it’s identity isn’t sacrificed in the process, that could only have been a good thing for the franchise.

I think halo 6 should have 2 games into one. Halo 5 was really great in map design, more futuristic. So halo 6 should have a halo 5 game style mode where you have more powers and whatnot. And then the standard mode which is just like infinite but updated. Halo reach is my favorite

Infinite should stay as the go to place for multiplayer for the foreseeable future and new campaign experiences should be separate (in a perfect world dlc).
