#13 Alt: Instead of going in through the top of Charred Forts, I dig underneath. All Forts I've seen so far have a small gap between the walls and the world floor, though you usually need to dig at a wall corner to expose the ground underneath the inside of the Fort. Once you loot the inside of the Fort, then jump down the hole and jump/run back up the outside hole (instead of having to build stairs to get up and out).

They really need to fix the animation canceling glitch. It's very cheaty, esp against the bosses, and even worse in PVP. That's the one bug that I hope they do fix soon.

As for number 13, with the very first central tower, I jumped towards it and fell through the central hole, taking no damage whatsoever from the spikes. Then I was stuck inside and even building up to the top, I could not get past the spikes. I had to spawn a battering ram to free myself and I was pretty annoyed that I had to result to cheating to get out.

Jump attacks like this can make the big hammers very effective against faster enemies, making the slow attack speed very manageable.

7:48 I just catch puffer fish and drop them at the feet of the dvergr until they die. Pro: no need for refined eitr. Con: no dvergr allies to fight gjall and seekers.
It's especially helpful at the excavation sites where you can get EZ soft tissue after poisoning all the dvergr guarding it.

Using the other world isn't just for transporting ores... I use it because I love to build bases but also don't want a wasteland clearcut eyesore on my base world. SO I make a resource world with 3x setting on resources and get all my wood and stone there for building. And I'm unsure if this is still a thing that works, but if you don't mind destroying an entire forest quickly summon multiple Eikthyrs at once (if you still can) and enjoy the chaos as they tear down everything with their AOE attacks. :)

Another tip when fighting mobs with campfire my friend found out: Use the Harpoon! You can pull them into the fire and hold them there

Log rolling was one of my favorite "hacks". In the early game, some trees can't be cut until later in the game. Simply cut down a tree by the tree you can't cut and roll the log into it. Sometimes if there is enough trees around you can get core wood just by cutting down trees into the one you can't cut. I have a "Home" world (no bosses killed), "Boss" world, "Trophy" world, and 3 "Trader" worlds, 2 were added added recently. I quit playing when the desert boss came out. I will start again when we get 1 more boss.

Arguably the best cheat is to use sitting logs in swamp crypts to glitch on top of them. After that you can use berserker axes and feather cape to glide to the very other side of the map

Shooting wood stacks with fire arrows is the quickest way to get coal, you get 50 coal for a stack of wood!

That's a pretty cool tip, but creating surtling farms seems to be better cause it doesn't require you to get more resources. Portal and craft bench just out of range of a surtling spawn. Mine the ground around it until everywhere close to it is in water. Then when you portal there, they will spawn and all immediately die to the water, dropping a decent amount of coal.

You need to be in the Ashlands or have the fire hazard setting enabled for the world. Also hitting the stacks with torches is a lot more effective as it doesn't waste as many resources.

You could do them, it's 19 exploits you could use, but not should. And as for the animation break, you didn't mention the second level, holding both left and right mouse buttons together after the start of the animation break for the power attack combo, the true op stuff.

If you dont wana sail to ashland and you have gears from a bad island, thats great. Find a mountain that is the closest to ashlands, build a catapult, equip a cape and use some trash item on catapult to fling yourself into ashlands (and i recomend you bring stone portal and some iron).
You can use spikes in ashlands to your advantage. Park your boat next to spike, put down stone and wood workbench and use stone in your boat to make a wall road from 1 spike to another. To connect stone spikes use wood as it will not burn until you are in landing area. Workbenches in area will also despawn any future mobs in range of them.
If you need fish, but you are lazy to fish, take your boat next to middle of ocean where you see fish jumping out and stop the boat. After a while a fish will jump in.
You can build a 2x1 wood tunnel in line and mobs will never spot you. Its great for when you go pick up stuff in mistlands. Just be sure you remove workbenches as mobs will attack the wood tunnel.
The large logs as build block breaks the Ai pathing. If you place a small log on ground 1.st and large logs in circle araund the base, it will cause the mob Ai a meltdown. Angeled 45* ones sticking outside your base will also cause flyers to follow the pathing under them. Its great strategy to set this up araund the area you wana build 1.st as its quick and cheap.

for both Moder and Yagluth I just dig under their summon structures and ping them with my bow. Bonemass I build a shooting area in the ancient trees close to the skull, magic. Closest I get to fudging things.

So when I first started playing Valheim, me and my co-op used cheats to fight bonemass and moder. But then fighting them straight up one time I realized, I really like those boss fights and now I dont even want to cheat anymore :) the best cheat: just prepare with proper gear and food ;)

you can use the corewood bench to clip out of dungeons, the same way as you can clip into virtually anything with the finewood bench. something mast people don't know is that all dungeons (at least all of them with a loading screen, so sorry not the sealed tower or ashlands fortress) are located about twice as high up in the sky as yddrasil, so you can use the feather cape to glide down, and with the right stamina foods to run make it almost a quarter of the way accross the map, completely free.
the bersekir axes allow you to launch, by standing on the edge of a raised platform and tapping the secondary attack with the berserkir axes you can let go of the keyboard completely and extend the attack animation to launch you decently far, and if you want to go even farther you can use the feather cape and launch to travel at about a 26 degree slope until you hit the floor.
and of course you can combine these two glitches and launch from the top of a dungeon, and if you do it right you can make it nearly 80% of the entire map, especially when launching from frost caves, as they are as far above normal dungeons as mountains are above normal biomes. (if you want to do this launch you will need to be launching from any dungeon with a loading screen, then position a corewood bench such that sitting, then standing will leave you clipped out, many dungeons (except black forest ones idk why) will have a small floor you will end up standing on, then look the way you want to go aim very carefully and tap the secondarey attack with the axes and feather cape, then don't touch anything, as interfering resets your extreme momentum)

this is seriously overpowered, it is faster than any boat and 100% safe (unless you take off the cape, or forget to look where you are landing and end up in a lava lake, or worse, the ocean, but you should be high enough to airwalk over to land. this method is technecally slower than the catapult, but it has better range, since you can do it from ontop of a dungeon, and it is arguably cheaper, because you probably already have the axes, being the best melee weapon in the game.

4:20 the wolves are also a really good source of meat/hides so you don't have to go out hunting for them. By the time you get raided by them you should be powerful enough to defeat them already. Valheim raids, when the resources come to you!

also, once I got hunted inside the sealed tower, it doesn't sound very good, but since wolfes are in a different faction than fulings, the wolfes nearly cleared the tower down to the miniboss for me! 😂😂

The hoe and cultivator also work for quick weapon sheathing. I tend to use the hoe for it due to where I place it on the hotbar (I keep hammer on B to line up with other survival craft games haha)

Aside from my first charred fortress, I've never entered the center without pickaxing on the side of the tower to as far as I can and then angling toward the center. While it depends on how much wall under-hang is there, you can pickaxe underneath the loot room and jump right up. Maybe in the dozens I've taken down, I've gotten too impatient or could not get the angle and had to move to another side.

As a must during any playthrough I do is I skip the first 3 bosses.
Eikthyr: To avoid Greydwarf raids and spawns during the night so I can happily explore in peace. Plus Eik raid is generally helpful providing free leather scraps and cooking materials. Just use Trolls (and now bears) to break copper & tin nodes.
Elder: To avoid Troll raids before unlocking stone build pieces. Chair glitch into crypts all day.
Bonemass: Completely optional boss at this point as silver is easy to find. In fact gathering Silver to make Frostner actually makes the Bonemass fight that much easier thanks to the added spirit damage.
Moder is the only boss that is a hard requirement to complete before progressing because she actually drops the item required to unlock the means to refine Plains resources.
