Makes perfect sense though we make bases completely immune to horde attacks so now they just target you were ever you might be even out and about exploring what dosnt make sense is there is no warning they are happening some kind of noise or something should play

Pack of wolves is no joke. Bro and I took Moder down and was just getting the loot from her body when a pack came at us. 4 after me and 2 after him. Needless to say the 4 ripped me to shreds and then joined the others to rip bro to shreds. When we saw that pack come for you we both were like we know how you feel bro. In the mist lands there is a feather cape that negates all fall damage when you get their research it kage. :)

The wolves are why I only use the bonemass special once it's unlocked. Helps a lot for plains raids vs fuling villages too, or hunting for lox pies.

Wolves happen. My favorite was when I got a wolf attack when I was attacking a fuling village. I went to the top of their lookout tower, and there wasn't a lot to clean up after they were finished with each other

cant fully recall but if you put a temp home up there and a workbench it may stop creatures from spawning with in the range so if it overlaps the golem might stop it from spawning if you know his exact spawn spot.

You are being hunted is the deadliest event. I would suggest getting out of the circle than fighting all those wolves else you're just gonna die.

Yeah those hunted events suck even with padded armer all the way up if they get you weakened your dead. They will keep happening especially if you kill wolves.

I guess is the seed you have. If you have events very often in my experience is the seed to blame. I know you are editing much and the timelapse is different, but just sayin'. I never used the silver sword. Frostner is great later on, in plains and mistlands also. Concentrate on getting that silver so you will have more freedom of movement. Also the bow is a must. It will help you so much. Best till Mistlands.

Medieval Dynasty is an excellent game. Kage has done multiple series on it, dev's are constantly updating. Highly recommend it.

Also those crystal walls you got the recipe for make great windows they can only be placed 1 high but you can probably make some cool base stuff with them, so a reason to kill golems if you want.

They recently added in a second attack with axes, normally it is pushing down on the middle mouse button, this causes you to make a downward strike like the pickaxes, only with the regular axe. Makes getting rid of tough stumps great, and it does extra damage to enemies you might give it a try.

Couple of things. Pickaxe is the best way to kill stumps. The Hunted event is insane.
My favourite way to mine now is dig it all out under the ore and pop it all at once, last time I tried it in the mountains I ended up with a golem stuck in the hole unable to get out, need to try that with trolls next.

The "horde attacks" (or raids) are a pain - story-based ones (such as the foul smell) happen until you defeat the appropriate boss of that biome. The event-based ones (Trolls, wolves, bats) only happen after you have killed at least one creature of that type. The wolf attack "you are being hunted" is one of the worst, but just because of the number of wolves that appear, but because it happens when you are away from your base (unlike the others). I have had it while trying to carefully hunt lox in the plains. That didn't end well either.

I have it in the plains so often! sometimes is good because I couldn't find some star wolves to pet and some meat is necessary but if you are in the middle of fighting a camp there is never enough stamina :))

One of the most fun things to do is when being hunted, you run through a fulling village. The chaos that follows is awesome. Especially if you can get the tar blobs to join in.

The wolf event previously was rarely seen becose any event needed 3 stations in the area in mountain biome - i had it twice on this play eather only with fire or just while exploring mountain

Yeah, I got hit with the Wolf Horde Event while in the Mountains and got killed, while in fully upgraded Silver/Wolf armor. Got my Iron Armor on, went back for my body and got killed by a SECOND Wolf Horde Event. Went back and got killed AGAIN!!! Eventually ALL my armor was strewn about that mountain, and I had to call the Rescue Squad. Pretty much destroyed my love for the game …

I dig under silver ore nodes and set up a bench, fire and chest for sheltering overnight. I also roughly flatten out a path through the snow to get off the mountain in a snow storm.

The 'Event' in the Swamp, 'a foul smell from the swamp', happened because you effectively did have a base there. I can't remember exactly which items count, nor how many of them there need to be in order for the game to consider a location 'a base' but, things like Workbench, Fire, Portal, Bed etc.... build enough of them in one place = That's a Base.... and events can then trigger there if you are in the area.
Leaving the area - moving out of the red zone on your minimap, via a portal, or diving into a Crypt/Burial Chamber/Troll Cave etc means that the timer on the Event pauses. It will wait for you to reappear/return into the red zone before continuing to tick down.
A situation where, 'You CAN run, but you CAN'T hide'. That's actually not literally true. You can hide (cower) inside your base (concentrate on repairing walls as they get attacked) and wait for the event to end.
The Wolf event is probably the hardest since it can trigger anywhere - not Base proximity linked. Best defence, jump up onto a rock or similarly lofty and inaccessible position that they can't also jump up to and shoot them. Don't go crazy sprinting and burn up all your stamina, you'll need it to jump, roll and block.

the events that ive had always were near a workbench and a fire, because ive had events that didnt have a bed or any other comfort items. so i think its just workbench/fire/structure

@usern4metak3ns That's pretty much the same experience as me. Smallest I have had was a mining outpost. Workbench, Fire and 2 roof tiles. I think there is a percentage chance every like 40 minutes. So usually happen to me when trying to build a base or catching up on Farming. LOL.

You definitely want to upgrade the iron pick at some point, since it remains the best pick in the game until the Mistlands go live with the blackmetal pickaxe. You will be mining a lot of silver so I would advise going for it

iron bucker is verry good if you parry and stun enemies-have a good parry bonus ,banded shield it's just to sit and take hits
