How about IM makes bodies locked for a minute. It isn't however locked for the person/team that got the kill. The moment the person/team opens the body it is unlocked for everyone else. If a mob kills the person it is unlocked for everyone.
Still doesn't fix someone kill stealing but it would be a lot better than what it is.

terrible idea. slurping is supposed to exist so you are pressed to protect your loot, otherwise you can just kill someone and reset for a whole minute
