Yeah I despise lobby inspecting. People see you got golden key or something and they immediately go camp said spot where you use the key or gem whichever.

It can be but know your gameplay will be nothing like the gameplay seen in this video. The game at first feels really clunky until you get used to the way the game plays then you have to get used to positioning and knowing just how much you can get away with to at least hit something before it can strike you back. Very fun game but man if you are a novice with mouse and keyboard it will be an uphill battle that will be worth it in the long run. Get it if you have persistence

Dark and darker is a completely unique experience. It is hard, brutal, and unforgiving. You’ll die to pve a lot getting started. But I love the extraction shooter genre, and the melee / spell casting gameplay is so engaging to me. If you’re looking for something to grind, and are happy being a part of an actual early access gameplay loop where sometimes the devs change the game’s balance every day, for 3 days in a row or make mistakes with the game they’re creating, then yeah, 100% give it a purchase. 0:11 I've had a spellbook for +5 extra magic dmg so I'm guessing that's the highest it can go. I saw a longsword that had a +6 Phys Power bonus too so who knows what the limits are lol.

What do you mean? There are keys in this game that can be seen in lobby that people will then rush to contest you for using (the golden key or the mystical gem). The mystical gem in particular is really bad for people to know you have, it can be almost impossible to access the room if someone camps you or contests you. I really do not think people should be able to lobby inspect in HR dungeons.

that ranger fight had me at the edge of my seat, literally got you to one shot with just one arrow several times(balanced btw). was not expecting the two tap with his rapier but was funny when he died anyways lol

Def agree on the changes to warlock. They were very much so on a ranger like position. Where they can just cast spells. Run, drop hydra and heal off it, run. Then when you finally catch up you're double DOT and they phantomised, you can throw an oil lantern or a Molotov to kill them but the heals they're getting will keep them alive while in the fire. They could, just like ranger, kite you for a long time, and if you were slow, like barb. Pretty much forever.

Torture Mastery's attribute scaling remains nerfed 50% ---> 25%, but Magical Healing can now appear on all gear again. Some gear slots have a max of 2 MH, some 3. I usually build 6 MH Min.

It's especially bad now that they've brought back +4 wep damage longbows. Ranger with purple longbow that has +4 wep and +2 physical power... that's excluding all the armor that can have weapon damage as well. I had a fighter this morning almost one shot me with xbow I was a geared cleric in templar and hounskull. Mind you I might have only been in greens and blues but the PDR between blues and purples isn't that big of a gap. So I'm curious if the meta is just gonna shift back towards ranger/fighter weapon damage.

@poopfart the armor rating between a blue templar and purple templar isn't that large. I don't have the game up so I can't check rn. But the only way to get as high as fighters do is to go lobster. Which is expensive as fuck, for a newer player a seemingly unreasonable goal, especially when they end up in lobbies with caped fighters and rangers super often. The biggest issue I really have with it is the ranged weapons doing so much damage means these classes get a huge area of threat, you basically can't push them alone. And in GC you are always alone unless you manage to team with somebody. You shouldn't be pushing geared players when you have none anyway. But when the guy already has circle before you, you've gotta do it, and this will happen often because people hunting lobbies are almost always aiming for the last couple circles. No experienced player is going to push you, so it's best to wait them out and hope they didn't get any good blue spawns.

People need to stop saying ranger is balenced it isn’t there on a point and click adventure while we’re on a melee slog range in this game is better than melee so of course the ranged class is going to destroy everyone especially if they have blue gear they two shot people in full purples if they aren’t a fighter, barb or cleric. At least half the slowness that happens when you get hit
