about the hitbox, just think about how you can die quickly from colleteral damage as it is with the current state of armor and hitboxes. Now imagine with the new hitboxes? you'll die faster because of all the gaps between your thorax and arms, your neck and all that stuff. With how collateral damage is effective, people will die no matter where you shot on the body because of how it will actually works. They should reconsider collateral damage.

Pro tip for the shoreline enjoyers, especially people working in groups, has been working since the release of the map and will be working until release in 2040: When you want to know if there is people camping the "highway" on the coast towards military checkpoint, road to customs extracts. The armored Truck on the road doesn´t get rendered from inside the Yacht Admin building and used to be (cant confirm as of now) from the "lighthouse" aswell. So just send your Timmy behind the truck and let them bait shots while you do a bing chilling flankeroo.

I was on top of storage by RUAF and was able to see the players in the blue containers that are in elbow and shot two of them through the containers and I didn't realize that until I moved like two feet and they rendered.. I was using m61's. My friends in discord told me to record that incase of a ban lol

@Time Tu I think this is what its about, not to bash the editing which looks damn nice, but it kind of makes it a less appealing transition since it can make that feeling of disconnect! There is definitely some potential to be untapped here with these stylized transitions. Not a lot of animations go through the whole screen other than facemasks so it might be hard to make.

regarding in-raid keys - I'd prefer e.g. bosses to have 4-digit dynamic codes so that by grabbing them you'd know the access to some locked high-value loot rooms (numeric lock) or access to further and further areas of the map (like very old 'Navy Moves' ZX game had)

@Moose_338 the #1 problem with the game right here. Every decision you make has to be made while thinking "what if there's a cheater" really sucks all possible enjoyment out of the experience

for all ppl wondering what a rd704 is: its an american made akm style rifle. it comes in many different configurations and the 704 version is a semiauto pistol. the us has weird laws that say that rifles under 16" either have to be registered as an sbr (takes long and is expensive) or they get "converted" into a pistol. that means (like the tarkov stock modding) it cant have a stock or foregrip. the "stock" it comes with is a pistol brace which (at least until recently) was not declared to be a stock. its just all about stupid laws in the US. if you let that all aside its just a short ak more or less like the ak104 and others. BSG decided to make it fullauto whyever and they made it less recoil than all the long 7.62 AKs which is kinda stupid but bsg does what it wants to do. maybe at some point it gets nerfed.

i still think its funny that the rd704 is fullauto... i mean it is possible but why would you take the 704 which is the SEMIAUTO PISTOL version... there are rifle versions of it which would come with a proper stock that would be way more realistic... and its not even like there is a difference... they would just need to change the stock and name/number of the gun and it would be fine. just stupid.

My PMC would be considered a felon in the United States for drilling the forbidden third hole in his RD-704, this is why he stays in Tarkov and it is full auto.

@Gualum Faulum still lots of bugs and still there is no bug type of loot in the game. Many of streamers/longtime players have got their items in the game. But bugs are from the beginning of the game and we don’t have them in the game. Should be like golden beetle or blue screen item in the game, which you have to find for cappa for example. Or it give you some extra availability to the items you can have only at higher levels.

I had a bug the other day on woods where none of the cargo containers at the scav bunker were loading in when I got close or scoped in on them. Their textures would be like 95% missing besides some weird lines being around.

@squidwardo the devs just have a hard on for 7.62x39, BP is literally better than .308 guns and its like 1/3 the price for the gun.
The RD-704 is lowkey a scam, you should just use the mutant instead, otherwise AKM/103/104 are all basically the best guns in the game for price point(I hate that the 103/104 cant be suppressed without fucking up the recoil though)
