It is indeed in my mother tongue which is Flemish, Daghe specifically is West-Flemish (dialect of a dialect I guess :D)

Most astounding seed ive discorvered is AnaSUzeVGu at x= 708 y= -7695
There you have a small mountain biome island at sea level, while the mainland next to the island is a high elevated plains (you will look up to see the plains... from mountains!!!)
The eastern main part of the island is a mountains biome with a tiny spot of plains and the western part mistlands.
Unfortunaly its the misty part of mistlands...
But it has quite a few roots and a giant skull for some soft tissue.
For a bigger farming plot you can build a bridge to the mainland plains. Just have to build a 50metres long bridge. But the mainland plains is about 30metres higher then the mountain island.

my favorite seed right now is "Chungus". You get a nice large starting contient with a giant river than splits it horizontally in half, and 4 of the bosses are within a perfect straight line. You could also fight yagluth without sailing; his summoning spot is on the main continent.

Lower case on the c "chungus" makes all the difference. That did the trick for me :)

When I write "Chungus" in the valheim world generator it only gives me a map with a small starter island with only eikthyr on it :o

The best seed is "Sweden". Seriously, everything is close, there are onion seeds and two silver deposits in the mountains, there's a million crypts around Bonemass.

EdTmcSNuSM is a crazy awesome starting Super Continent that you can walk North all the way to Mistlands from Spawn. Enjoy!

Can you do a seed hunt for the newly released 'Riverheim' mod? You probably won't be able to use the generator for it though so it's a true hunt for the best seeds within it.

5VFd88Tiws is one I LOVE. It's got the coolest start, with the boss stones right near the ocean, and I always build a huge city right around that spot. I have 6 saves on that seed, each one with a different town, and I'm starting a fresh playthrough tonight on that seed again.

I love the "Pretty Start" seed. I use one very similar, it also has that big "donut" shaped island, but my spawn was on the main island instead of the tiny one. 9BCp6a4KQo its very similar.

I'm waiting until Deep North drops, because often these things do come with reasons to start a fresh seed. But I do get a lot of fun and satisfaction from seed vids.
I think my current ideal is a seed with good sailing routes to bosses and traders (even if they are on the same continent).
And I have a desire to have a home base near spawn at (in and over) a brook valley with the brook flowing fairly straight into the ocean or large lake with ocean access.
I want to make my harbor in the valley and have my home overlooking it.
If it has 2 branches maybe karve and longship docks together. But it was already very specific without 😅

For some reason I will not walk the same time though. The wind in my sail and a fair lass in my arms is the life for me!

Once I use either world switching or spawning tools for one thing it will escalate and ultimately rob everything of meaning.
For the same reason I don't use build mode except for very specific things like a wall of crystal.

@sneezyfido I get the situation you are in with Hildir. I would, in such a case, spawn Hildir in somewhere. It's not a solution everyone would be happy with. Which is fine, but that way you can still enjoy all the latest features she offers too. Or make a new seed just for those activities and keep the rest on you old one :)

The issue is that places where you have been are locked into the old state.
So if you ran around mistlands a lot before it dropped you have a big empty in that place. Avoidable if you just don't go close to DN territory.
The bothersome bit is when new things are added to existing biomes.
I have one world where Hildir content is blocked because I had already visited everywhere she could spawn.
Even if you didn't block all spots all the new things will be on the other side of the world than where you were exploring and playing.
It's OK if you just play a world for the progression and then drop it.
But I put a lot of time and love into building homes and roads and whatnot. It feels bad to drop it just to get to the next trader.

I haven't played since before Mistlands dropped. We took out Yagluth and then sailed around finding new locations before knowing that would be messed up with any new updates, so I am just waiting for 1.0 with Deep North to finish.

Awesome! It is not bad to know what you want :). For this video I went searching in a couple of places. I had some channels I could check in Valheim communities and kept an eye on the reddit page for Valheim seeds. Maybe these will help you in your search :)! Old seeds can still look similar to their new version too, so if you have an old seeds with the location you like, it is definitely worth it to check it out :)

This one is my favourite. I play on this seed my nomap-noportal run, so I had to be carefull with map spoilers watching this video. It has three rivers leading to outside of starter-crater, but the stones in water can be painful to the boat, so I've removed most of them at some point. And funny thing is, this run became my deafult Valheim run :D
