@ithildiess9048 all the updates shown are in the game today. All for free too, no paid dlc
@ithildiess90482025/10/25(土) 11:01
Is these updates in video all in Valheim today or is it DLC purchase only ? I thought it was only the forest. I'm very new so I know nothing about these.
@SnazzyjonesGaming2025/10/24(金) 04:32
@yankokassinof6710 i respect that. you might be onto something
@yankokassinof67102025/10/24(金) 03:24
@SnazzyjonesGaming i dont think valheim has to keep up with the market at all, it doesnt matter what direction the MarKEt is going. Valheim has its own vision that will last forever, the game and the devs are slow, this is the way. The "more options" is just an illusion really...Valheim has to do its own thing
@ObjectiveComplete2025/10/27(月) 08:15
oh this is all speculation not actual facts
@AIRGEDOK2025/10/27(月) 06:25
I play Valheim with a group of friends. We had a dedicated server (our own not a paid service) but we stopped at the mistlands. We didn't stop because of disappointment but after hundreds of hours we feared getting burnt out if we played every new update which we were doing. We are waiting in anticipation, as we bide our time with other games. We are not a fan of early access as it seems some games stay in early access forever and some just stop development and still others seems to have one large initial release and a steady decline in their development. For every success in early access there seem to be multiple failures.
@blackscorpion39522025/10/27(月) 06:00
If the game will have pvp official server this will be the most insane game ever !
@Edcognito2025/10/27(月) 05:01
Mistlands caused me to stop playing (just replaying the first 5 bioms on new characters). My grandson got me back into the game and we finally beat queen together. Enter Ashlands - die like dogs. I wonder if Far North will be do-able without Ashlands...........?
@starrystarrynight522025/10/27(月) 04:44
I for one, enjoy the extra work you have put into it and the grindiness of Valheim. Make it too easy and I lose interest. Make everything too convenient and it becomes like retail WoW. I like the feeling of accomplishment that comes with this game. My only wish is for more inventory spaces. And since you don't store the clothes you wear in your pockets irl, I think they shouldn't be a part of the inventory either, or the tools and/or weapons you carry.
@justneedaname2025/10/27(月) 03:47
I really hope that after you kill all the bosses it opens a portal to the Yggdrasil tree and you fight your way through that to Valhalla.
@smokeymoe7772025/10/27(月) 03:27
With the size of the map it needs npc villages more traders maybe even enemy ships
@Luke-SVRN2025/10/27(月) 01:36
Hopefully they make the ocean no boring and lame before 1.0
@Surreath2025/10/27(月) 01:09
Clickbait + starting your video with "pay me" = blocked channel
@polaryos2025/10/27(月) 12:41
Thank god. I just finished my coastal castle. Thought it would flush away by a new tsunami or something 😅
@TheMythosGamer2025/10/27(月) 12:41
I still play Valheim off and on to this day. What blows my mind is that a small team of devs made this outstanding game, have never shifted from the original vision, and consistently keep delivering awesome updates. Then to make even more fun is the ability to mod if you choose to. I think much larger game studios could benefit from seeing what these devs are doing right to make their own games better! ✌️
@wonderland74932025/10/27(月) 11:39
I hope the update comes out soon so the game can be worked on like the turrets, equipment slots etc maybe add a new sea monster who knows and it depends if he is done with working on the game.
@whisky03122025/10/27(月) 11:10
Don’t forget that pc ports for Xbox are usually borderline unplayable. After playing it on console for about six months I’m just now realizing that it is actually a pc port, but it feels so good, and the controls are so instinctive; you would think it was designed for controller.
@Akarat14112025/10/27(月) 10:46
I am waiting for 1.0 to replay Valhein. I played up to mistlands, but i'm holding the new content for 1.0. I love the game, but it is too grindy to start over every time. I know the new content spawn in unexplored areas, but that can force you to spend days sailing in search for new chunks
@joelreyes18352025/10/27(月) 08:37

@swede75812025/10/27(月) 03:48
Must be the "Biggst" game and still somehow smallest game i have installed ...with that i mean its 1 or 2 gb in size and compared to AAA games that is horrible,boring and even in some cases looks way worse at 100gb...So its an amazing game in so many ways...Visuals is atleast for me a big reason i got this game way back w that old pc i had at the time..
So is it a good game? yes....I loved the update way back where i just can keep on building n no need for fights n other things..So at the moment i have(dont how many buildings i have n how high they are,BUT not finished...will be a intresting moment to see where game suddenly says NO to hight n so on w buildings...)
Still in 2025 i think is an amazing game...looking at the small size on disk makes it even more amzing..

yeah the game size is pretty nice
@midnight84322025/10/27(月) 12:08
valheim is such a great game. changed survival games for me forever. just wish i could find a longboat full of people to enjoy the game with
@Teknopuls32025/10/26(日) 11:21
There's a rule in Vegas; you never leave a table when it's Hot. But that's exactly what Iron Gate did IMO. This game was revolutionary and by far the most popular game out there that made their five-man team rich overnight. At that point, you have a choice to make. To burn that candle at both ends, making a complete game with regular updates to continue riding that lightning that Valhiem struck, or, continue your standard employee perspective of maintaining an annual sabbatical for a work-life balance. They chose the latter and left a hot table. Then, upon returning, maintained the status-quo of uber-slow development time and the heat started to fade. People who love the game began taking it upon themselves to make it better with QoL stuff that should have been implemented at the time Mistlands had released...but again, they didn't for whatever reason. They sat on their laurels and just did what they did. Today, we're looking at 1.0...five years later...on a game that had modders implementing a magic system into it after Hearth and Home! You would have thought they would had got the picture and kept their player base...but for myself, with well over 900hrs invested...it's like a crush that was never reciprocated and eventually you lose interest. I'll likely play it...but I don't suspect for long...especially as was stated in the vid with SOO MANY OTHER OPTIONS out there that do 'this' better.
@PorkFork2025/10/26(日) 10:14
My friends quit quite a while ago, the difficulty spike annoyed them too much, and Mistlands was too annoying, I quit too since I was alone and myself didnt like that magic was added SO long into the game, it doesn't sit right that an entirely different playstyle requires you to progress ALOT. Hopefully the games changed quite alot and theres beginner level magic or something but Im probably waiting till official release, especially since it sounds like inventory is still incredibly unfun.
@Demon-v5l2025/10/26(日) 08:56
Had a seeker come out of the fog while I was trying to creep back to my teleporter while at regenerating health, scared tf out of me.
@sapce46062025/10/26(日) 07:37
As someone who played both Valheim and Vrising, i can confidently say that Vrising is a lot bigger than it looks. Moreover, i do have some complaints about Valheim that i sure hope the folks at Iron Gate can fix before launch. It is a game with great potential, but they need to soften out some rough edges and unleash all that potential so it can cement itself as a great survival game. I'm still waiting for that promised spear rework that didn't came with call to arms.
@arcturus642025/10/26(日) 07:01
I still believe Valheim's 1.0 release WILL get people coming back and with those will likely come people who want to try the game with friends.
@tjpprojects71922025/10/26(日) 06:30
My only real problems with Valheim right now, is the lack of armors, especially for archers, and how wonky some of the boss fights can be. Yaggy is a powercliff, and somehow going from a lesser archery armor to a greater archery armor results in me dying EASIER? Normally when you upgrade to a new armor set, it isn't weaker than your previous armor, despite the enemies you face getting stronger.
@DieInStyle02025/10/27(月) 01:48
@tjpprojects7192 I'm not sure about the exact context of your statement but I would recommend paying attention to the resistances of your armors as well as the armor rating, sometimes its worth using older armors if they give 50% damage reduction to your current foes (ie. The gnarled root chest giving 50% pierce reduction and many of the mistlands bugs doing pierce damage)
@jonse5a2025/10/26(日) 06:24
unless they come up with something new for the north, it'll just be a wave. I found the ashlands very tedious, I never finished it.
@queweamiraitantofeoculiao58262025/10/26(日) 04:48
I used to hate mistlands, but I like it now. The places without any of the mist are so beautiful. Definitely see why most people hate it specially at first tho lol.
@felipecupertino68312025/10/26(日) 03:15
they need a lot of QaL stuff to be a great game, going from core keeper to valheim fells a downgrade to the point me and family droped it
@KIIBIIR62025/10/26(日) 01:26
its a game build to last, and carried by mods,,,,
@porterwake38982025/10/26(日) 01:21
Early Access = infusion of money to invest more in development to release a full game sooner.
Valheim Devs = ALRIGHT, LET'S JUST GO TO ARUBA AND DRINK!!
Fuck Valheim and the devs.

@SnazzyjonesGaming2025/10/26(日) 10:47
thank you for pointing that out haha
@ApocalypseLoner2025/10/26(日) 03:32
Man wtf. I thought actual tsunamis.
@lynh96482025/10/26(日) 01:08
You terrified me, I thought they were adding tsunamis in the ocean biome!!!!😱😭, so thankful that they aren't 😂
@SnazzyjonesGaming2025/10/26(日) 01:45
that would be wild!
@RAPTOR9482025/10/26(日) 12:45
I think it would be cool if Valheim let us plant bushes at our own leisure, so we can grow berries at will, and let us grow mushrooms on logs, like on corewood.
@RAPTOR9482025/10/26(日) 02:52
@SnazzyjonesGaming It would save us trouble from having to scour for bushes. And it would be a good idea to let us grow mushrooms on logs.
The mushroom growing could be done only in the swamp with the rain, Let us grow on logs and indoors. Given the wet conditions of the swamp, mushrooms growing in the swamp would be ideal.

@madhbh2025/10/26(日) 12:40
Valheim is a crazy game for me. I’m still fairly new to playing it, and wanted to document my playthrough in live streams. I’m a small growing channel and it’s given me the most people I’ve ever had in my streams. Not sure if it’s because the community on YouTube is still small, or if you’re right and a tsunami is coming 😂
@supreme84x2025/10/26(日) 12:33
I want them to make a Valheim animated series.
@supreme84x2025/10/26(日) 12:28
Mods turning the game into an mmorpg is the main thing that keeps bringing me back.
@SnazzyjonesGaming2025/10/26(日) 01:46
the modding community goes hard
@supreme84x2025/10/26(日) 12:27
Post 1.0, the type of endgame features I would love to see would be Odin sending gods to try and kill you. He fears you've become to powerful after you take out all the bosses. So he sends them to find and take you out. Maybe with some of their heads, you can go to other of the 9 realms and cause Ragnarok. Or maybe you defeat them but refuse to kill them. Just maintain the status quo.
@supreme84x2025/10/26(日) 12:20
Man, I got baited. The title had me thinking a new update to the ocean where a tsunami mechanic/feature was being inteoduced... 😓😆
@SnazzyjonesGaming2025/10/26(日) 10:48
sorry to bait ya haha

I think one issue Valheim might have is that being early access, many players would have played their fill and won't care about the new content. I have purchased a few EA games where I have gotten the gist of it, but it didn't grab me enough to bother returning for 1.0. Or the thoughts of regrinding to reach new content just didn't appeal. Sunkenlands and Astrometica are two of these.
@SnazzyjonesGaming2025/10/25(土) 11:53
quite possibly you're right
@Taskuvesku2025/10/25(土) 10:34
I think Valheim has quite strong player base, so I'm not worry about new similiar games.
@ChristopherCDaniels2025/10/25(土) 09:43
Im really looking forward to the deep north.
@Emilis20232025/10/25(土) 09:24
Valheim quickly became one of my go to return visit games I cycle through every year or so. I absolutely love it do death. And the fact that nearly every revisit so far has included new lands, gear, and bosses, has just made it all the better. But I'd still be playing it even if it was in the same state from 5 years ago.
And shout out to Gura for putting it on my radar in the first place!

No, it won't revive the game. The game peaked during Mistlands and never recovered.
Early game remains a unbalanced mess.
The world feels dead and lifeless.
Every single world looks the same since the game is not actually properly random generation, but based upon a large seed map, the randomness comes from where the world circle is polaced. You see one Valheim world, you have seen nearly all of them. Very BAD!
There's lots of lore that is unanswered, something a single biome and update alone cannot answer.
Multiplayer is a mess. It quite frankly SUCKS. Both you and the ones you play with need to have a fucking RTX 4060 and less than 60 ms in between you to even be able to hit mobs proper. It's jarringly bad. There's a reason why peer to peer is almost exclusively used in settings where you both have the same hardware and in things like fighting games and turn based. But valheim does it exceptionally bad!
The Elder is easily the most boring boss in the entire game (besides the moder, if she's going to fly around that much then give her another air based attack at minimum) and such a shitty followup to the awesomeness that was Eikthyr. Just shoot fire arrows during the entire fight. Very very engaging mechanics... Replace this boss entirely, or at the very least make it vulnerable to chop damage so there's a reason to melee it... (Also thematically The Elder having the Swamp Key makes no sense, every single boss drop has been themathic to what the boss is besides The Elder).
Bronze Armor set sucks so incredibly hard.
Sunken Crypts feel very unfinished. There's stairs going upwards but they are always blocked off.
Dungeon generation in general, especially for Burial Chambers far to often result in a "Blocked" message.
Ocean is completely dead, it's a glorified Sailing simulator. This is a game, not real life. Give us something to fucking DO!
Terraforming needs improvements, it's needlessly hard to flatten terrain properly without pixel hitting with pickaxe. Also can we please have adjustability on the hoe slope feature?
All the early biomes (Specifically Meadows, Black Forest, Mountain and Plains) need atleast 2-3 more unique enemies and 2 more passive animals each. Bring it a bit more to LIFE. I mean Call To Arms is nice and all (besides the trinket balance that shit just further illustrates how badly they're balancing the game) but it's not simply enough for the world to feel more alive.
If I had to pick one of those biome that needs it the most, it's the plains.
Also, I'm a big believer in that every single resource should have atleast 10 uses, preferably even 20, and for early-mid game items, atleast 3 of those should be for end game items, this gives a solid reason to farm and tame animals etc. Thankfully they already do this occasionally, but it needs to happen more.
Add some tree variation, not in terms of completely new wood types (it's honestly fine the point it is at with what we have + whatever is coming in Deep North), but for the prefabs themselves for the current wood types. You see one tree, you have seen them all. The Swamp at the very least makes some sort of effort in this regard with the resizing, but even there it's not enough.
If they are NOT going to touch the ocean content to make sailing less boring, then can we atleast have a scout focused ship that only has 2 inventory slots but is 1.5-2 times faster than the Longship and much smaller? I don't mind it being a high risk ship in that it has weak durability in exchange for being much faster.
Enemy AI is just pure stupidity, at least for early game. Make enemies move sligtly forward (about half a floorboard ought to do) when they attack and it should help cure for example the Rancid Remains Cheese.
Buff structural integrity vertical and integrity and support for all pieces by 50%.
Oh and this game badly needs things like drawbridges and proper larger wider gates and doors. I'd love something that you can use to create a closed off ship harbor.
Ironically considering what people seem to think of it, The Mistlands feels the most mysterious, alive, good amount of vertical etc. It's in my opinion the only good biome in the entire game and one of the very very few updates they did good. The Mist is literally a non-issue unless you have the gamesense of your average gaming journalist and it does way more than you people seem to think for the atmosphere. Constant WET status in the swamps is easily far far more annoying.
I'm going to write this now and you can remember the inevitable: Valheim will like with every other update see a upsurge of around 60-100k players. Youtubers like yourself will milk it dry, and then the game will slowly die over the remaining 2-3 years after that. This is what happens when you release a game to early and don't re-invest properly in it.
Calling Deep North a 1.0 release is honestly one of the greatest jokes in the gaming dev space in the 2020's. Soooo much wasted potentional!

@martinvaux98432025/10/25(土) 08:12
So, I love Valheim and have been playing it since before Mistlands was introduced. And what seems to have annoyed people about Mistlands is that it is extremely challenging to beat alone. This is the core of the complaints, as the game forces people to work as teams, and to specialise their loadouts.
I've played Grounded, I'm playing Core Keeper, and I beat V Rising with ease. All of those games are far simpler, far less challenging, and patronise players much more. Valheim doesn't hold your hand, and the lack of graphical polish and slight jankiness is part of the point.
It's a game about role play, teamwork, specialisation, and experimentation - and it's a game where you play yourself, really, because the lazier you are as a player the more you get punished - whereas skilful play can often lead to things feeling a breeze.
The key to this is the way the game encourages genuine teamwork, leadership, kindness, hilarious failure, and collective hard work.
As far as I'm concerned, there's no better team multiplayer game. When it's at 1.0, I think couples and families will come rushing in. Then, 1.1 will follow, and we'll get tweaks and polish and so on.
It's a more Stardew-like experience than many Action RPGs, and I've played it through to the end of each update, with my main character and then starting from scratch, since I got the game. It keeps getting better and better, and as someone who bought the boardgame, which appears to hint at several New Game+ elements, the future looks bright!

Please fix the armor equipped taking up space in inventory! That is the one thing holding this game back from perfection!!
@MontyFly2025/10/25(土) 06:54
Perhaps the game is a great game but, I can't get into a game that looks like graphics from the 1990s.
@Arthillis2025/10/25(土) 06:43
I still dust off and play valheim after updates. When I first got it back in its first early release for less then the cost of a meal eating out I sank over 200 hours into it pretty quickly and had many memorable fun moments. For me this game is one of the best survival/builder games I have played. It's well laid out and designed and the progression in it feels good and rewarding and challenging as well. And your not stopped from using interesting building tricks to tackle situations.
On my first play through there were no guides yet, just me figuring things out. I recall my first base being a minuscule thing not far from the starting point and me taking a long time to get bronze. My first base was on a semi steep hill slant that made it more difficult for monsters to get to it as a early form of defense. I recall going out of the way to make roads from my base all the way to a copper node and using a cart to cart copper back and forth. Now I know thats a waste of time and its just faster to skip the road. I even went so far as to place torch lightning along the road.
After getting some bronze gear I decided to go after the second boss across the water from me but only built a starter raft not having unlocked the first mini boat because I didn't know what was needed for it yet. Think I didn't make nails yet so didn't know of it. I took my little log raft and set sail only to get caught in a huge thunder storm that was tossing me about and doing damage to my raft. I barely made it to the other side were It wasn't too far from water that the boss spawn was located. I went and spawn and fought it only to go back and find my raft had been destroyed near the area I parked it and all its parts sunk to the bottom and irretrievable. I was stranded in the black forest at night beat up, equipment damaged and no way back home I didn't even bring with me wood to make a basic crafting station. I just accepted my fate and snuck around exploring tell I found a decent sized meadows areas that sloped up to become mountains with black forest on either side. It looked cool and defensible so I took right away to making a new base with what i had on me, and for the rest of the game that became my new base and home. Ended up spending 200 hours creating a terraced 3 story base with a basement and balconies with complex storage and crafting areas surrounded by a deep protective moat and walls to keep monsters at bay with a walled harbor area and dock that monsters couldn't scale. Even with all the build knowledge I have now to make something better it was still my favorite build because it was all vanilla had crafted with no cheats mods or console command build modes.
That first play through for me was magical.
EDIT ADD: I guess it depends on the person. Things that people see as "convenient" I think aren't always good. I think its good when a game makes you sometimes do things the hard way, like having stuff on you to craft. But like mentioned for those that don't like that there are mods. Also they added the ability to customize difficulty by changing some settings compared to the first early release so by final 1.0 release they may add more difficulty customization based on popular mods. Also I think one thing that made the entry into valheim easier was the low cost. The fact they aren't trying to push a game for 80$ yet are still making bank with their small studio is to be commended. If they sell it for 14 dollar and they have already sold 10 million copies thats 140 million dollars and the studio only had like 4-5 people when it first started, so yeah they should all be millionaires at this point. They should keep the cost for the game low because with its high praise and rating and a 1.0 release a low cost of entry will bring in a lot of people. And it's not like they need the money.

@Shiftshapercat2025/10/25(土) 06:34
for there to be a Valheim "Tsunami" they would have to release what is effectively twice the current content into the game while adding more game mechanics.
@SupraSav2025/10/25(土) 05:52
Whoever thought the mistlands would be a good idea should be sent to the other side of the universe alone, 1 way trip.
@SupraSav2025/10/25(土) 05:45
As someone with over 400 hrs in valheim.. Great in some areas but falls flat in others. Seafaring is so utterly boring, the mistlands throw everyone off playing this game(3 friends of mine in 3 separate playthroughs) and most of all balance is out the window. The graphics suck yet this game manages to be so GPU intensive. Are voxels REALLLY that GPU intensive in 4k???(using a 4090)
Frankly, I'm done with the game till it hits 1.0. It's been in EA too long and it's still a janky experience.

I just wished the cooked more then 3days a year. Game still has more potential not being fleshed out/added that shouldn’t take years to implement.
@novavqz31472025/10/25(土) 05:11
In my experience, I have had worlds with 300 days of survival without going into the plains ot mistlands. Only focusing on building my viking estate mansion, which, is just so good and cozy
@skippothehippo2025/10/25(土) 05:05
i found mistlands rly cool but eh ashlands didnt feel like valheim anymore IMO (i dont mind difficulty tho)
@ericgardner47502025/10/25(土) 04:49
oh yeah im always thinking of booting up a new playthrough of valheim but yeah just waiting on deep north so i dont burn out before then.

I'm gonna be pissing in this wave pool for years to come. I'll drown before I quit.

@Gubblll2025/10/25(土) 04:17
In fact i have 400 h in it and stopped playing it because i would make a fresh Endless start by 1.0 launch. So im waiting since Mistlands to get back in this World!
@disappl37602025/10/25(土) 04:14
The board game is sooooo good
@thorsmith592025/10/25(土) 04:11
They totally fucked this game up by adding magic to the game!
@Reyjahn-12025/10/25(土) 04:02
Probably a normal wave. But does it really matter? Valheim is a good game many players will replay every time no new Games they´re interested in release for a while.
The "crafting out of chests" should just be a thing you can change in the wold settings. That would be a little bit more complicated in Valheim because you dont have a fixed Base-Radius, so you would need to have settings like "Craft from chests in workbench radius" or "craft from chests in x meter radius around player", but it should be possible.
A modification of the "no map" setting where you can still use the map with the cartography-table would be great for people who want to play without the map but still want a way to know how their explored world looks.
Ah well. I´m looking forward to the deep north and 1.0 update. I plan to start a new world and do a 100% completion playthrough. All trophies, weapons, armor, all tameable animals at two stars (if possible) and so on. But i still try some settings to see how i want the world settings to be in that playthrough.

vrising
@damnsurfer5222025/10/25(土) 03:43
Outside of consoles the peak has already happened. Steam will just be a trickle effect. It's not a live service game there is no rush to return. When people have time, they will but again no rush.
@Bbonobo2025/10/25(土) 03:33
I'll give it one more run but It won't be a "Tsunami"
@geek9212025/10/25(土) 03:19
OG Valheim was one of my favorite games of all time, but Mistlands and Firelands honestly ruined the game for me. Not the systems or features, but the biomes themselves. I hope the deep north is better.
@roeb42092025/10/25(土) 03:09
I've been playing since 2019 in what angers me about the game is how weak your base building pieces are so weak so it's really easy for the enemy to destroy something that took you hours and hours to build and the food duration doesn't seem like it lasts long enough so you got to be overweight with food just to go on an adventure we need different item slots for our gear separate from our inventory
@seizethecarp_2025/10/25(土) 02:46
Valheim has definitely peaked. Deep North and the 1.0 release will just be the cherry on top, if you will. That doesn't take away from it being an absolute classic that will be played and replayed for years to come!
@EugeneFist2025/10/25(土) 02:38
Valheim's hype vas cradled by C19 and lack of proper fun games. But with the tempo it's been updating in the past 3 years, it's safe to say it's hype train is long gone.
@vintage_jd2025/10/25(土) 02:35
"stood the test of time" nice quote
@michaelmccandless12802025/10/25(土) 02:19
Played it for 1,500+ hours up until shortly after Ashlands. Patiently waiting for 1.0 before I play again.
@Valdis632025/10/25(土) 02:17
Pretty sure the devs have said they're are done with it after 1.0

People are free to leave their homes? When were people not free to leave their homes? Covid? You mean tyrannical government overreach trying to subdue citizens "for their own good"?
@JarppaGuru2025/10/25(土) 01:46
7:07 grap says all. every big update less peak than last. too long game. 500k peak never happen. players all ready finished it. only 200k max will play deep noths or even less. is it sad? yes. its good minecraft2
@clubjrgaming26102025/10/25(土) 01:44
Valheim is a up most great game, it has fysik that no onther games has, like smoke, you need to make sure there is an outlet or stop breathing stuff like this and lot more , makes this game so damn GREAT, todays games are for the most part 1/4 of the title done or others are simply not playable even from early acc, Valheim was a full game meaning, you could play and have fun, and we all did, so even if i do not have the time to plays this title as much as before, i will get the next in line they are making because, good studios are hard too come by in this modern world.
ii have plan to pick it up again next year when 1,0 is released, i then can see how big the game has become. i have only praise for this tiltle and studio members. best regards Denmark

too long game. finished 2 times. even not end. deep north will be yet again hard maxed armours and weapons. you grind ice? make polar bear armour. yes bear but white.. game will die months after. no need keep play after end credits
@J3T17772025/10/25(土) 01:31
The mods alone on this game can make the gameplay different for every single playthrough
@Lore-M-Ipsum-yew2025/10/25(土) 12:56
I just did a search on your videos. Have you not discovered EverWind yet? It is only out in Demo but as a Valheim (2,000 hr play), Enshrouded, and Minecraft fanboy, it is the perfect synthesis between them all and is the first game that has kept me away from Valheim for any significant time. They only have a demo available but I'm hooked. Check it out. You will definitely be hearing about it!
@Nmx62862025/10/25(土) 12:39
I just hope they keep adding new stuff to the game slowly. New biomes, enemies, animals, recipes, decorations, you know... stuff.
@betonman92025/10/25(土) 12:28
valheim in vr is GOTY
@_ElisDTrailz2025/10/25(土) 12:05
Valheim desperately needs a performance patch before it officially releases out of beta. Frame drops, even on a fairly beefy PC get ridiculous.
@Xalion2025/10/25(土) 11:42
I can't wait for version 1.0 to be released so I can create my final world. Until now, I'd usually create a new save game every patch, only to get distracted by the content at some point, or simply stop playing. Then, I wouldn't return to the previous world because of new resources that appeared in the patch—a new save game was required to make the new content available, without having to search through undiscovered sections of the old map.
@fcold94022025/10/25(土) 11:21
I think you are right it will pass its previous record as it will be releasing on PS next year so all those people get to play. Plus one assumes on actual 1.0 there maybe some advertising (even if just paid streamers) to bring in a new audience and reignite the old that havent played it in a couple of years.
I was going to wait for 1.0 myself but....didnt. i will restart the game on 1.0 and will probably even rebuy the game as I switch from xbox to pc. I cant wait to start on a different map...I hate my current one.

@themooreclan2025/10/25(土) 11:13
I wish i can hire dwarfs, you have to build beds for them, then they can get resources and sort the items in crates, they can use your boats and carts, if they die or boat gets destroyed it will show up on the map, you then have a mission to get the loots back
@fcold94022025/10/26(日) 11:43
That would be cool. I like survival games but that is the one thing most dont have. If you play SP you cant really build a "village" because whats the point as no one populates it.
Medieval Dynasty has npcs and is good but lacks the quest objective that games like Valhiem and Subnautica have. Conan has slaves but I am not even sure if it has an end game objective and if it does I am sure it will be as hard on SP as Ark. Ark has dinos but they dont need a village and as many hours as I put in that game I could never quite get though all the caves and get to that "endgame". After playing Valhiem a bit and beating the last existing boss at the time, I thought, maybe i can try Ark again and tried restarting the game on a new map and it was ...i dont know, boring is not the right word because you have to stay on your toes, but....just not...it took a LOT of time to get resources. Bumping up the settings and then you get resources too quick making dinos pointless...it was just frustrating to find the sweet spot that valhiem has. So I went back to valhiem.

Valheim hits all the satisfying buttons. Building, crafting, exploration, farming, fishing it has it all. Add in a decent multiplayer and a good community and it will hold against time.
@vint0rez2025/10/25(土) 10:34
Valheim is unperfect in many ways but has soul like old games. So it's not just nostalgia it's the way how much passion and good ideas you have to implement. It reminds me I had so much fun with Populous 3 where u could manipulate terrain, Mount&Blades with a lot of freedom and choosing your own path or Gothic with hard dark world where you start from zero in cruel world. All these games was somehow raw so Valheim is. I think this game is already legend and I hope they will polish till the end and leave it to shine like a gem.
@sushmag42972025/10/25(土) 10:19
I bought this game about 2 weeks ago and i already have 70 hours in. Im absolutely addicted and I love how moddable it is. It feels so big too, and theres so much to do. I only killed Bonemass 2 days ago. I wish it was more polished because it lags sometimes but its an absolutely great game.

nahh man grind and to much cost resurses on gear killing this game
@Sandro_de_Vega2025/10/25(土) 09:18
Marketing. This is only thing that matter. In last few months we get bunch of game that could be popular, but they werent bc no one heard about them. If valheim devs want this wave of popularity happen they have to gift some codes to streamers, maybe even do some sponsoring. People that arent in this topic should know. For sure valheim 1.0 will be mentioned at the top of steam store. But this system is over abused by bigger companies that will take it down with their own games in matter of ours.
@PeterBressau2025/10/25(土) 09:12
3000 hours in i can vouch for one thing.
Even if the developers lost interest in developing this game (wich they have - they said it themselves in interviews)
The modding community is what will make this game great again. We had playthroughs multiple times on online servers when mistlands wasn't finished, ashlands wasn't done, every time we had amazing adventures there because modders took their time to create whole bioms
I'm in contact with a modder (Balrond) that is working on a whole nature overhaul, implementing weather events, seasons... he made a complete overhaul of the weapon and armor arsenal, he's bringing alchemy into the world of valheim. He created whole new monsters with great abilites. He gave existing Monsters new abilities or accest to many weapons the vikings can weild themselves
(Skeletons with an iron sledge really are scary when you first encounter them. They SLAP)
If ANYTHING will save this game after 1.0, it's the modding community.
