I really did enjoy this and the perspective from the team. As well it gave a bit the history of how the game came to be from being a side project of the developer. The huge success was very much unexpected but they rolled with it under a lot of strain as a very small team. Everyone’s impatient on updates yes. But I do look forward to when they do arrive the updates.

I have well over 1000 hours in this game so far.
That's absolutely unbelievable for me. I've never played a game this way, and I doubt I ever will again.

Real question, Wouldn't it make more sense to update the oceans before the mist lands? Because the oceans are what connects all the game, and currently it only has one creature and a rock that sinks.

23:00 my expectations are low for mistlands, so i will be happy! I find that if i set an expectation for something i have no say over, i wont get what i want. It would be like a child hoping for a wedding cake for their tuesday snack; just wont happen. Just my opinion.

TY guys for making a game that is both exciting, scary and cute. Every time you enter a new bio dome, it will be overwhelming. Ty for also making it very warm and cooperative. My friends and me have now builds that are both functional and feel like homes. I like the fact that it is not just grinding, it feels like an awesome adventure! Visuals are spectacular where needed, low rez where not needed, well done job on that balance! Keep up the good work, it is much appreciated. I play a lot of games and am much into virtual worlds. I can say, Valheim is special to me!

As someone who never really was interested in survival games or building games... Having nearly 1,000 hours and playing it alone, with friends, with my son... the building is so addictive. Worth paying for two games absolutely. In a time when AAA games fail, this early access one deserves praise for style and thought.

Love the game. I would love to see horses waaay in the future, I know you have lots to do and this isn't a priority. But there's a lot of traveling in the game, the Lox is very late game. Would love to have an early mount that could be capable to haul the cart. Large boats can carry your horse across the seas. Maybe even horse mounted combat

The game needs three things for it to be 10 times more successful. More animations for attacks, and a rework of stamina. It needs to be made fun, it's not fun now. Dedicated servers for worlds with thousands of players. One where the world is full pvp, the other world players can't attack each other. Also each Biom could have it's own traveling npc, that would be fun to find.

It seems like they're largely doing away from the mirkwood aesthetic that the mistlands had. i hope they return to it a little bit. maybe some more vertical adventure, fighting the things that live in the trees. i also hope your smaller updates stop adding content and start to optimize current features, such as the trader, who could do with a rework to be easier to be found.

Massive Multplayer Online is more than 10 players, you can't make that work with P2P, and the game is incredibly much fun playing in a server, 10000 times more fun. Actually for me is boring solo, the only reason I kept playing and I'm hooked is because I found a good server where the mods and admins work hard to make with work despite the limitations created by the P2P.

I can tell you, that it is very much the next biome after Plains or Heathlands as they were used to be called once upon a time. You can expect the same things in progression, armor, weapons, tougher monsters, food, all that jazz =)

Heathlands indeed - I happen to hail from a part in Northern Germany where the landscape is dominated by heath, so I instantly recognized the look of the plains when I first entered them! Something about that landscape felt instantly familiar. Loving it! Thanks for confirming my suspicion!

I took a couple of months break and came back a month ago, started a new char and a new world, when I was fighting Bonemass, kiting him I heard a weird sound and as I turned around I see this huuuge tree thing walking towards me and it truly scared the shit out of me. So you definitely succeeded in scaring me atleast, especially since I thought I was a pro and swamp was easy.

Interesting... I love the game, and the unique traits and challenges of its zones. On that note the Swamp stands out by far, in my opinion, and I feel the Mountain had a lot of potential but ultimately feels brief and small. Would love to have a reason to spend more time there and encounter more daunting mountain areas; harder to climb and cross.

Yeah the swamp and the plains feel like the most fleshed out currently in terms of content and challenge with the addition of the abomination. The mountain is probably visually my favorite biome beside the plains so it'll be cool to have it brought up to par with others. I like the idea of some challenging creature in each biome that you can make armor sets and gear with, so with this Fenring armor we see here it'll be great to have that for the mountains alongside the new caves

TBH Mistlands with all these cobwebs giant skeletons and other stuff were super cool and you guys shouldn't really change it too much. It was dark, a bit scary and it was disturbing. I think that you should keep this biome, maybe under different name but keep it.

You enjoyed the 1-hour meetings in the morning? Do them. If you stop having fun doing this, it will stop being an amazing game!

Looks like mistlands are no more big trees with spiders and darkness. Instead, they are some very rough terrain you can have vertical fall any moment, but when you see something through mist, it's actually bright. Also, it's possible that you can't climb most of the time and should find the other ways to go up. I really appreciate the change. We already have one dark biome with big trees that hurts your eyes, I would really have not liked one more.

I love the motivation to the abomination, I remember the first time I ran into one, definitely a "wtf, what is, WHAT IS THAT" moment. I appreciate all the hard work going into this game. Honestly just wish I had time to actually play, even as it stands I know I haven't experienced everything that's in the game, but I'm definitely happy to listen to some of the behind the scenes while I'm working, myself.
