So I am assuming you are using some mods here as you are upgrading things where it is clearly saying that the workbench is not at the proper level?

Did they ever fix the thing where you couldn't craft without an empty slot in the inventory, even if there was space in a slot for more of the same item? I would also like to see the hammer icon on the workbench and forge repair all items instead of one at a time, and also repair items for both stations at once as long as there was one in range, for example visiting the workbench would also let you repair forge items as long as there was a forge nearby.

THANK GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I know that 'I accidentally made two of those' so well. At least I finally had something to do w/them when they gave up armor stands. But FINALLY! Is all I can say.

In the past didn't it jump back to the create tab after upgrading? I've definitely accidentally created new items when trying to upgrade before

One thing that bugs me is onions is lev 2 food, Yet I solo play and couldn't get onions till I had a wolf cape and was strong enough to not get murdered by drakes and packs of wolves

This is something that was already in a mod and most of us use mods after killing all bosses in vanilla. What we really need is a search bar for crafting. Sometimes is annoying to scroll up and down like 5 times to look for a single item i want to craft while with a search bar let's say i want to look for an iron tool or something like that, i'd just typ "iron" and it'll just show me everything that either has iron in the name or it's made with Iron. Same for construction, filter the walls, the poles, the doors, filter the forge upgrades, the crafting table upgrades. That'll be amazing to have that not even mods really have, only "Better trader remake" that adds a bunch of items that the trader sell and it has a search bar to search for a specific item.

A search bar would be AWESOME!!.. But I'm also glad they fixed this crafting issue for players so we don't need a mod for it. Mods are fun, but the notion that "a mod already does this" shouldn't stop any dev team from bettering their game by adding/fixing features and making the mods obsolete.

I know a lot of players don't like mods, however...The recycle mod puts a tab on the crafting menu allowing me to break an item back down to its original parts. The only thing I use it for is when I accidentally craft a silver shield when I meant to upgrade the one I have. Or, I forget to pick a color for a shield before crafting it - that's just as frustrating. Perhaps Irongate should be looking into this a little deeper. There's more than one flaw in the crafting menu. Glad to see they're at least moving in that direction.

They must have been reading my thoughts. Just yesterday, I was upgrading multiple items and I was like "Why TF do the items keep moving around on the damned list!?". Now I see this video.

How about when you are careless and make another one instead of upgrading the item you already have. Maybe have a pop up or warning that says "you already have this item in your inventory". Or have it you can deconstruct something and get some of the mats back.
