Great vid, but I'm not so sure about the bow stuff. Sounds like it's gonna be really hard to see at a distance in Mistlands, so ranged weapons may not be especially important. We'll see i guess.

The trailer. The update will come in December. BUT it may go into public testing on the 22nd.

What is really important is to do it NOW!!!
1. save your savegame
2. destroy all workbenches in the world which are NOT in your base or buildings
3. install the mod: "Upgrade World"
4. start game with mod, open console "F5"
5. enter these commands and confirm each with Enter:
resetmap
zones_reset biomes=BlackForest
zones_reset biomes=Mistlands
zones_reset biomes=Meadows
zones_reset biomes=Mountain
zones_reset biomes=Plains
zones_reset biomes=Swamp
start
6. Exit game
7. remove the mod, or reinstall the game...
Now your world is completely unexplored again. Except for all the places that had a workbench nearby. Everything is now regenerated with the current state of the game.
Don't worry, the protection area around workbenches is VERY large. Should a complete mountain or swamp not be reset... then there is still a workbench somewhere.

I’ve started doing fresh playthrough when there is anything cool added to the game lol. But I logged in explored very little. Farmed a ton of bronze ingots so I’m just logging in on that seed with that character when mistlands drops. So basically starting that playthrough in the swamps. But I’m sure they will have added other small things throughout the entire game.

172 hours in total. I recently started again as I have never ever gone past bonemass, hell I've only defeat it once ever and I have no idea how to even explore the Mountains. I am a total noob and now they are adding more stuff? I have to say this is probably the second best bang for the buck game I have, only second to Dota 2

You need to make frost potions then once you get a few wolfs under your belt you can craft items to hang out in the snow the mountains are fun and hard ?

Getting hyped for Mistlands! I just hope I can find a Mistlands area in my current save that is not explored. I found one a long, long time ago and built a portal there, now im wondering if there is another close to that point.

Thanks for the advice. My sister and I love playing Valheim together and are eagerly awaiting Mistlands. One of the things we did to prepare, because we knew we wanted to start a new world, is we have stocked on tons and tons of current end game mats to build an awesome base. But your video made me think twice about making sure we have enough food items stocked and of course to get our fishing up. So thanks again, good advice!
