Its fine. We did a lot of work to make sure of that using the right pieces, not building over a certain amount, etc. On the live server with 100 people on it though... they are working hard to make sure it will be. Tests have been pretty good so far though.

The way you guys went about designing preset structures "blueprints" that can be re-used, is the quality level IronGate should have been doing with the vanilla game - mixed with their procedural generation they can have much more intereseting worlds to explore. They needed to up the level on random locations, with loot, and mini-bosses. The vanilla game's pre-made structures that spawn in are really basic. Everytime I come across some stone tower in the black forest with a few skeletons, I see the potential they are missing in making some more interesting areas with good, unique, randomly generated loot. The game needs to allow the player to find a random iron sword with randomized traits on it, something you can't craft. IT doesn't have to be some crazy OP loot, but give us something, and the loot should be tied to the difficulty of the area. So your started island won't have amazing gear, but the further out you get near the edge of the map, the better the randomized loot.

A few years ago, i was asked to make a custom map/conversion for a skyrim streamer. He found me from a linkedin profile i forgot about when i was younger. I figured itd be something neat to do for a challenge and extra pocket change. He said i was free to do what i wanted it just had to be unique. Which is a red flag the buyer is going to cry about everything. I made a map comversion that was essentially "Alice in Wonderland". I had one area where i had everything upside down, another where things were melting. Another area where you were in a goant forest of different mushrooms where the mushrooms would spread spores that gave dmvarious buffs/debuffs to you and the enemies in it. There you could capture and train a giant bee and ride it anywhere. I had spent a long time on that, the animation alone itook a full week. The guy messaged me 4 weeks in for the files. I sent him videos as proof, but it wasnt ready. He would ask for the files and thrn eventually said he had to pay me in exposure because his donations werent what they should be. I was so angry i just blocked him and abandoned the project. I thought about releasing it as is because the files should be on an old laptop that needs a new motherboard to work though, i just lost interest in it and forgot about it until this showed up on YT for me.

@@austinflores7185 There is a modded open world rpg version and an unmodded linear playthrough. The second option will be a regular valheim world save so you can play it solo or with friends. Up to you.

Just like a person can build something and then send that world save to their friend to check out their build. Same concept.
