I would have deleted all the camp built a tree house. Seen to much thinking this is a setup for a hard core playthrough. Get more out of a tree house a bow and arrow! Build indestructible ground around the base of my tree house.

You are such a good builder. When I watch you building I wonder if you could make a containment for those herds of greys that raid the camp when you and Waffles play 🤔

It is beautiful, but I am not sure I would call it a starter base when it contains so much made from materials beyond the meadows. If I were to drop into a fresh world containing this base I fear I would succumb to the temptation to break much of it down for materials I would otherwise have to wait to otherwise acquire! 🤣
Out of curiosity, do you ever build chimneys with an exhaust actually large enough to allow the smoke to escape (2 x 2, no frame), or do you just not care for the aesthetic of such large, unadorned openings? I'm not saying its wrong, just curious about the motivation.

Exactly what I was about to say. A "starter" base wouldn't include dark wood materials for example. Or indeed a bonfire.
Also, as there were only two beds it should be a "for you and a friend".
