Great job, my top is tha same if be honest,
medows - flint spear
forest - atgier is a best choice, bronze mace is cool choice too cause skeletons very popular enemy and week to blunt(against trolls use a bow ).
swamp - iron mace or sladge 100%( or go to mountains and get 30 silver by useing stagbreaker to make frostner )
Mountain - druger fang
Plains - black atgier, hunt bow, frostner still good ( for boss the second best weapon )
Mistlands - staff of ember, mistwalker,honorable mention demolisher ( best weapon to enter first time is frostner )
Ashlands - it will be controversial is storm star, stop, I will explain. How comfortable u feel when fight with berserk axe against 2 star charred warrior? I suppose it's not the best experience, but if you will use mace you will just spam secondary , it will pushed a warrior back and he will never touch u, also is ability to use shield (it's shines in tough situations ), and it stan capabilities , secondary make 5x of base attack stagger, with 25% lightning which also deal stagger . Wide attack with knockback help to control croud and chain lightning will kill croud and it's safely
Shorlty i want to say that the best weapon will be good in any situations
berserk axe are the most fun and fast but It uncomfortable to use against strong enemy

Glad the Atgeir got some love in this video. Too many people stick their nose up at it. The Atgeir is definitely the best all around melee weapon in the entire game (not Frostner IMHO), excluding boss fights of course. It has awesome value from the moment you can make a bronze one and all the way to the end-game. It finally depreciates a little in the Ashlands, but is a lifesaver up to that point.

People who say "hurr durr, Frostner is best weapon in game, hurr durr" must've failed 1st grade math. Look at damage numbers. Frostner deals 35 blunt/58 frost/20 spirit at max level. That's a total of 113 damage. Storm Star (flametal mace with lightning upgrade) deals 141 blunt/10 lightning, and has the added bonus of a 25% chance to deal 75 addition lightning to the target with an 80% chance to jump to nearby enemies. Even ignoring that lightning effect, Storm Star deals 151 damage to Frostner's 113. Even taking into account the 50% bonus to spirit damage taken by Charred enemies in the Ashlands, the Frostner isn't even comparable. And the slow effect from the frost damage, while nice, is also quite negligible, as the chain lightning effect counts as a separate damage instance for purposes of stagger, and/or just has a much higher stagger modifier than normal attacks, resulting in ABSURD chance to stagger enemies, to the point where you shouldn't even be able to appreciate the loss of the slow effect in the face of the absolutely crushing increase in damage that you get from a far superior weapon plus the bonus damage taken by staggered enemies. In short: don't use Frostner in Ashlands. It's a trap. If you like maces, get the Storm Star.

Great job, man, I like how you choose from all languages in the world, language of facts
@NPC_maga2024/06/15(土) 01:35
@@SpazzyjonesGaming the problem is that you're not the only one making these claims, amd it got to a point where I figured I must be missing something and tried it out for myself only to find that it wildly underperformed compared to even the Mistwalker (granted, that may have simply been because my sword skill is higher than my club at this point).
@SpazzyjonesGaming2024/06/14(金) 10:42
I mean you're just stating the obvious. I'm approaching it from the angle of how impressive it is that a weapon from the Mountains is still viable 3 biomes later. Naturally you get better weapons as you progress with the latest biome giving the best weapons. But, the pure fact that you can enter the ashlands and hold your own with a weapon from a 3 biome prior weapon speaks to how good of a weapon it is
@ThorneyedWT2024/06/14(金) 08:31
My list is not "most effective" per se, but it just works for me in basically all situations with relative comfort. So here it is.
1. Meadows - wooden club. Fast and effective, reach is good enough.
2. Black forest - same club, plus bronze axe. Sword would be better, but I can skip it, and axe is needed anyway.
3. Swamp - at this point I switch mostly on bows, while still keeping club and axe as melee weapons.
4. Mountain - silver sword is so good that I kept it even halfway through Mistlands. Of course proper buckler or round shield are essential.
5. Plains - silver sword with another shift for bows, since there are tons of arrow mats from deathskitoes which do good damage and allow easy village cleaning.
6. Mistlands - magic setup with decent blood magic level turns on easy mode, but Mistwalker is just too good and its mini-wisplight ability is extremely useful at times too. But just to free some space at some point I ditch swords and shields and leave Jotun Bane as melee backup. Same idea - you need axe anyway, and it actually does the job. Not as good as proper sword, but still.
Also at this point I switch to x-bow which is perfect for long range precision shots (the only real weakness of magic build).
I won't say that there are no other good weapons, but they are not as fast and handy as swords with shields. You have to pay with lower reach, or slower swing, or worse parrying, or much worse stamina usage. Some weapons just have bad hitboxes, which is extremely frustrating when fighting ticks or even bats. So yeah. Clubs-swords-axes. And magic.

I would say staff of frost is objectively wrose than staff of ember in mistland unless you are dueling with wetted enemy.
The lack of accuracy, long casting animation (which stop etir regeneration), lack of aoe potential and short range really hold it back aginst the staff of ember.
The advantage of slow effect is easily offset by the knock back from staff of ember(SoE). Now that fire dmg can be stack, also make SoE much more efficient as well. More importantly, the SoM is the best weapon to kite enemy.
When you are facing small skirmish, i think both staff can do well. But, when you are swamped by enemies, there is a clear winner.

Magic really is king. They should introduce lower staff variants for early game so you can build up your magic skills by the time you hit Ash. I was able to handle Ashlands being melee, however went back and leveled magic/blood up a bit to 27 and even that does serious damage. Planning on giving some buddies ember and prot staves so they can hit the ground running with magic and be beasts by end game.

It becomes obsolete in the Ashlands. Magic is way to go. Especially the frost magic.

i love daggers in early game, but in plains and up they suck, their range fails at hitting the hitbox of the larger mobs like lox and soldier seeker, making it verry unreliable. i tried manny times to sneek up on lox and alt-attack them only to miss even as my face is burried in their bums. also dual vield is a bad call, dagger/buckler ftw.
