My main base has almost exactly this same layout, yours is slightly larger and far more detailed though, it's given me so many ideas. I've built mine centered on the Elder Temple so that I have it's massive brazier and unique stone features in the central hall. This is absolutely overkill for a single player but I'd still do it and I definitely plan to. You'll grow into it and be able to fill it out with all sorts of displays and trophies.

It's an incredible build and I can take some great ideas away from it (especially incorporating the workbenches into stone and black marble). It is as you say, too big for a solo player. The one concern I have with all those wide open windows and the lack of defences is how practical it would be at defending against raids.

Would not be very raid friendly, but if you got raids turned off or Raid proofed your base then it would be ok, this is certainly for a more relaxed playthrough :)

Differently love this build. My hubby and I used one of ur builds already. Him and I would use this build but a smaller one. So yes I would use this build in my play troughs. ❤❤❤

I usually play w 3 or 4 people so my viewpoint is from this perspective. I would move the furnaces and kilns all to one side...or only have half of them on the side where you have your crafting benches. This would allow you to have space to put the gauldr table downstairs for quick repairs and access to storage. Storage underneath fermenters is nice. Lots of storage next to the benches is so important because the crafting materials make you overburdened. You said you have more space there for storage and it sure looks like it.:) where will you put your portals? We 9ften port home for the night in a new biome and have dump chests near the portals where we can empty our inventory so food time is not wasted..sleep and then back out to the fight. Chickens cause a lot of lag. Maybe have them at a diff location w a farm area depending on if you go automated ckn farm. You can plant and harvest while they lay eggs. Love the build. I think ill look at this as well for a playthrough. I love multiple wings instead of many floors. Awesome!

Wow !!!!!!! This is an awesome, awesome building. Build it in your series. Your creation, your design, and yes use it. Play in it. I build with the Dev commands all the time, really large builds. I made the mead hall of Beorn from Lord of the Rings. This is an epic Viking build.

Stunning build you have there. This is the kind of scale I usually build for my own single player bases but I tend to spread out not up, I've not tried building a second or third floor yet. Great work. Keep em coming. Thanks for sharing .

Hey Zom ! Great build as usual ! I think it would be a great base for your odyssey, but only if you got the materials and patience to build it. I’d also avoid building anything that can take rain damage. Building roof tiles that are touching the floor is a waste of materials in my opinion as you can just build an overhang and have a lovely roof regardless. One last thing that’s a bit of an eyesore are the furnaces and kilns breaching the roof’s surface ! Everything else though is a chef’s kiss ! Well done and have a nice day ! Keep dem videos coming !

Yeah the furnaces sticking out is very noticeable, I have been looking into ways to try and make them look more like they are part of the roof setup, because having them inside and placed this way is practical because of smoke ventilation just not great looking lol, I may come up with something to incorporate them into the roof better.

Gotta say I absolutely love this build! I play withvtwo othere players from time to time and this would work wonderfully. I'd say it's practical for a no raids play through. 🎉🎉

Doubt the beds would actually be functionable so far away from the actual fire. Would have to fine some way to get those usable.

When I asked about an end game base, you said that you were working on one. This one is pretty cool. I think it'd be awesome if you built this in Zom's Odyssey, but man it would take you forever to collect all of that material, especially the tar for the roof.
